cops as well, seattle police won't respond to home breakins and car breakins so long as the perpetrator(s) aren't present because they need to stand on call for overdoses and mental health crises
2 car breakins in our driveway past year, no response when reported, neighbor down the road got broken into while at work, cops didn't show up for that either
last year a group of men pulled over in our street and quickly went through a bunch of hastily stolen medical supplies, sorting the ones they wanted and tossing the ones they didn't on the road, it was very clear they just robbed a pharmacy or smash and grabbed an ambulance, we called the police, they said if a unit was in the area they'd take a look, about 30 minutes later, long after they left, a police car drove down, paused and shined a light on the discarded meds and then kept on driving
