2024 Fantasy Football Thread
Welcome to the 2024 fantasy season, where I'm officially addicted to best ball. I've been drafting since the end of Jan
That was my first thought when I heard it was a slow auction draft and a player isn’t sold until nobody bids on a guy for 12 hours. However, I have come to find out that to start every team can nominate 2 players and once one of your nominations are sold then you nominate another guy. In theory, there should always be 28 players on the auction block at all times. Later in
I’d imagine this scoring way devalues wr even w the starting requirements and pumps up pocket passers, rb, and te with Rb/te being the positions you want to have hit your flex
If it was 12 tm I think the strategy would be easier. Draft elite rb / te early, push qb a bit and get 3-4 starters since it’s best ball , but w the scarcity that occurs in 14 tm, I’d guess you can’t do that
Looks like you only have 1. Haha.
I wonder how high Rodgers moves up. Is round 14 really that much different than round 17? He could jump up past Mendoza, but I donβt see him going much higher. The play calling should be more fantasy friendly, in theory. But he never threw for 300 yards last season, only threw for more than 2 TDs twice, and clearly isnβt rushing the ball.
I think he should move near Bryce. Bryce has more upside, but he also has some level of bench risk, I would be shocked if Rodgers gets benched at any point
Would guess their median projection is fairly similar too
Rodgers has more injury risk because he’s 100 yrs old though
Yeah maybe right after Bryce, before Geno/Jacoby.
I think there's some bench risk with Rodgers if the Steelers suck and they want to see what they have in Allar at the end of hte season.a
Looks good to me.
I’m still trying to remember to pay attention to byes haha.
There’s something freeing about drafting not thinking about byes, the schedule, etc.
Same. I keep trying to make some 2QB teams, but end up with my first 2 on the same bye. I don't mind if it's an earlier bye, but the last team was Maye/Love and their bye is week 11. So I added Bryce as well.
Had something unexpected come up today and havenβt had a chance to pick since earlier. Lol me.
Spoiler
When underdog first left my state I went to New York and max regged the puppy and bbm so had 300 drafts going at once .
Def had like 150 picks waiting for me when I woke up some days .
That's wild. I hope I never get there haha. I know there are a few out there that do it that hard, like Sackreligious. But he's not out of state. He's just max regging everything.
I'm currently at 168 slows, and that's way more than I really want. UD threw me a curve ball dropping The Field General. I was planning to only max slow The Puppy this first month.
Came across another solid uniqueness spot in a Puppy to take Nabers.
That’s a fun team to add skattebo to
That Tee Jay or TJ guy that we were talking about that was running the 4qbs/4tes builds in pre draft, just won the pga milly on dk

Good stuff. Thanks for the sharing.
pretty happy with my rookie draft in my one dynasty league. 1.75 TEP. 1.5 - Tyson, 2.5 - Stribling, 3.5 - Klare, 4.5 - Cole Payton, 4.9 - Sam Roush, 5.5 - Cyrus Allen. Weak draft overall, however.
Tyson at 1.5 is pretty great
Lmao, PPRTyler sold out Best Ball Guy for $500 of site credits in the So You Think You Can Tout comp.
I haven’t seen him go higher than the 160s yet.
I still think he’ll remain the cheapest starter with a presumed 17 game runway.
