President Donald Trump

President Donald Trump

I assume it's still acceptable to have a Trump thread in a Politics forum?

So this is an obvious lie - basically aimed at

Playing the race card and the class-warfare card in the same hand. I'm impressed!

He's also a man and probably straight, so you missed your opportunity for quads!

Surely you can’t be this stupid?

The problem is that the Democratic establishment alternatives to Trump are also representatives of a death cult loyal to the wealthy masters whose short-term power is dependent upon excessive consumption.

Voters aren't presented with an anti-extinction option.

Trump at least offers something. The heartlessness and willingness to decide who dies is a feature, not a bug.

The capacity for compassion is not mental. It's deeper than that. Serial killers / predators don't wake up one day and make a cognitive decision to torture and kill. Sadism is built into their DNA. An empath who sees the suffering of others and is brought to tears ..... that's part of their constitution. When Trump stated that he doesn't give a thought to people's economic pain

You don’t know this, and most would argue that upbringing and environment play large roles.

Sadly, humans are generally pretty friggin stupid.

It may be sad, but it's self-evident.

DNA is an aspect of our environment.

Survival of the fittest at a tribal level confers an advantage to the tribe which possesses those with a natural aptitude for killing. Tribal function requires a clear decision-making hierarchy and selects for those with the ruthlessness necessary to dispense with the competition. Brutality is part of nature.

Trump is a brute. Xi is a brute. Putin is a brute.

The world is run by brute force. Money is a brute force.

Edit .... but nature is the biggest brute force of all. When we run short of water and food, chaos will ensue.

People misinterpret my policy recommendations as the expressions of an aspiring authoritarian brute.

At their core, they are a recommendation of collective submission to the forces larger than human's and which dictate the near-term fate of human civilization.

I don't want to be the administrator of the policies I recommend. I want to smoke some weed, garden in my pajamas, have a foil for a vigorous game of ping pong and a woman to snuggle with.

Running the world is a hassle. it's not groovy. It's like being a parent who has to tell rebellious kids it's time to go to bed and they can't eat candy for supper. You'd be dealing with bitching and moaning people like the seflish mf's on this forum.

But someone has to do it ....

At the end of the day, God is like Trump. Doesn't give a **** about us.

99.9 of all species that have ever existed have gone extinct.

God made nature and the rules we live or die by. If we don't respect the rules, we get evicted. If we respect the rules, we get to stay longer until some meteor strike or massive volcanic / tectonic event gets us anyway.

There is a great quote in Game of Thrones from the character Daario Naharis.

"All rulers are either butchers or meat".

That's the biggest hassle associated with running the world. A never-ending supply of ruthless people who want to kill you. Part of the job involves disposing of your opposition.

It would suck to have to live in a constant state of defending against threats of people wanting to kill you and neutralizing those threats. Being an anonymous citizen who doesn't stick their neck out is a much more peaceful existence.

It's not my fault that people can't handle the truth. They can attack me all they want, but that doesn't change the truth. Donald Trump is the avatar of a death cult. An example of the brutality of nature which arises when tribes prepare to fight to the death. The people who support him want a cold-hearted bully to lead them and kill off other people who they rationalize as les

The bolded is vigorously asserted by every nutjob on the internets.

(Or 'nutnutjob' in some cases.)

COMPLEX-QUESTION FALLACY ALERT!!!

Apparently this thread is devolving into another Nut Nut blog.

COMPLEX-QUESTION FALLACY ALERT!!!

It’s not a complex question fallacy. That would be something like “When are you going to stop being stupid?”.

by geezerchess

Apparently this thread is devolving into another Nut Nut blog.

why is it never a good poster

There isn't anywhere who here presents any contrary evidence to what I assert.

You can call me names, but you can't demonstrate that I'm wring.

I'm happy to engage in scientific debate which involves data that supports what I assert.

Virginia Giuffre's death is to be reviewed by the Australian Police.

Is there anyone out there who is willing to go to bat and be the standard bearer for the counter argument that we are not filling the environment with toxic pollutants and exhausting the water supply ?

You're all good at insults, but no so good at factual debate.

For what it's worth, the things I'm informing you about don't take a genius to understand. It's all very simple, basic and self-evident.

I'm not a genius. I just don't live in some self-absorbed fictional universe like most people.

Alright I'm withdrawing my claim that I would vote for nut nut over Trump.

jfc dude

You post like a fedora wished to become a real boy.

You post like you eat only charcuterie and drink only hoppy IPAs.

You remind me of a Ted talk. Ted Bundy.

You have the social skills of a popup ad.

I never claimed to have good social skills.

I just have a good grasp of biology and history. I understand the root causes of extinction ad the fundamentals of human metabolism.

The greatest extinction in Earth history was the Permian of 260 million years ago. A sequence of just 4 chemicals ...... sulfur dioxide, carbon dioxide, hydrogen sulfide and methane.

The carbon dioxide and methane levels are telling the story. Human metabolism isn't complicated. We exist on carbs, proteins, fat and water.

Not sure if I can recall another poster saying something as egotistical as the bolded.

I also grasp the use of an ad hominem argument.

It's a tactic used when there is no substantive argument to be made. It's a pivot to the identity of your opposition when you can't offer a logical argument.

I'm accustomed to trying to make the conversation about me and pivoting away from the substance of the consequences of our pollution.

It's tilting to be made aware of the truth of the human condition. It interferes with the storybook notions of virtue we walk around with in which we are virtuous protagonists.

by Rococo

Not sure if I can recall another poster saying something as egotistical as the bolded.

It's not egotistical. It's not about me. It's a general statement about the competition for power at the very top regardless of who is in the position.

But thank you for bringing another example of an ad hominem argument.

It's a dangerous business offering inspiration and ideas which would supplant the status quo.

Lincoln, Gandhi, Malcolm X, MLK Jr, John Lennon.

What do they all have in common ?

Their lives ended with bullets.
