GTO+/CardRunnersEV?
This is the support thread for CardRunnersEV, which is hand EV analysis software.
Recent and upcoming features require using "Extensive" storage mode. In light of that, it would be good to be able to upgrade existing "basic" database (s) with as little efforts and calc resources as possible. Now there is no quicker way to do that other than total recalculation from scratch.I tried "basic" tree recalculation to "extensive" with all flop decisions locked and i
Locking the flop play when re-solving would indeed result in some speedup for the new solve.
The main difficulty is that this will only work if no changes are made to the dEV settings, and if all trees involved were originally solved to that exact same dEV.
Another challenge is that it only applies to a fairly specific situation.
It could easily become counterproductive if used incorrectly.
We're generally careful about adding features that are only applicable in a narrow set of situations and require a certain amount of technical understanding from the user.
I will make a note of your suggestion, but we'll have to give some thought to whether we can include it.
Hi scylla,
Is it possible to add to the range explorer the range comparison bars as an output of equity buckets in addition to the hand strengh categories? I mean something like that:

I can suggest to integrate this in the UI using a toggle button to toggle between the range and the equity bucket presentation, and presonally I would remove the EV versus equity scheme as it takes too much space and IMO has very marginal use:

Thanks!
Ok, I'll make a note of your request. I think that it might be more straightforward to tie such output to the "Strat/Eq/EV" toggle in the upper-left corner though. Otherwise there would be two separate toggles for essentially the same function in different parts of the interface.
PS:
My apologies for the late reply. I've been trying to post for the past 2 days, but kept getting an error. From what I can tell, no one was able to post in the software forum during that time, so it was probably a technical issue that affected everyone.
Hi scylla,
When building tree using the codes in this page:

When using the code G, is there a way to make the tree builder to drop the bigger size? for example when I have sizings 30, 67 and g3 which comes 87 and I use the code G21 I want him to drop the 87 but each time I arrive to a node with such a decision the tree builder drops the lower one and I usually want him to drop the bigger one, is there a way to do that?
Thanks!

At the moment this is not available, but I'll see if we can add customization here for the next update.
