After some quick research on structure sheets and WSOP Official rules, I can't find an answer I need to settle a bet.

The "Ladies" event allows discount for someone legally identified as female (via ID).
The "Seniors" events do not have a discount, just a buy in amount and an age cut off (via ID).

Legally (and I'm sure this has already been hashed out but), is the discount and using the term "ladies" the work around for discrimination lawsuits? Can someone younger buy into the seniors event without being 50+? How is this not discrimination by age?

Can someone who is 10 years old legally buy liquor in the USA?

Because eventually everyone will be 50 and quality for the seniors event.

Nice rack on the former porn star, shame the cameraman is cutting it off

FWIW the Winamax Poker youtube channel is showing the main event live and free (not behind a paywall). The catch is the commentary is in French.

Ive been watching the French stream on mute. Not a bad workaround if you dont have ESPN

I told you how to solve both these problems.

Works fine for me, started right at 5pm pst.

This is the page to find the daily links on computer or phone.

On TV app, just search for World Series of Poker and it should come right up.

I have the ESPN+/ESPN APP on my Ipad... It's simply not there.
I've clicked every single tab.

I can't be this dumb

Jackman/Morgan flopped a straight with KJ on QT9 against two guys with Q9 and TT and ready to win huge pot. But the TT facialed them both when 9 paired.

I see what you did with that MFM threesome.

Anyone know where exactly this view is located? I have never seen this and can't find it on google street view maps because they have outdated information. This is from Daniel's video today.

Pretty sure this is between Paris and horseshoe, directly behind you to your right in this view would be the CVS on the strip.

Just to the left of the Las Vegas Blvd. CVS, the bridge in the photo is the pedestrian walkway into Bellagio. It's between Horseshoe and CVS/Paris

Ok, thanks, I see it now on google maps.

lol

Rampage, Polk and Ivey are strippers on moving billboard down LVBV. lol

KrissyF cleverly checked a rivered low end sf in the 5K turbo bounty last night; four spades including JT9 plus another 9 on board. H/t WSOP X account

Villain(s) all checked too

Ooof not a fan of these graphics on the ESPN broadcast. The silver looks garish

We're not even getting interesting stories from the series ITT because everyone's been dissuaded from following due to the constant derails by a certain poster.

The Horseshoe is quite a maze of a place. When arriving there I didn't know if I came to the right place because I'm thinking I'm coming into a hotel, but was greeted with a casino floor and escalators so I was a bit lost at first, but eventually figured it out. I was actually pretty impressed with the Paris which has some really cool areas aesthetically. There is this really cool fancy restaurant called the Vanderpump Paris. I didn't go inside, but I saw the dining area and it looked really nice. So far I've eaten at Wahlburgers on my first day. I got the double burger, fries, and a water. It was pretty good. Yesterday I had Ramen-Ya at dinner break and ordered some tonkotsu pork. I think that was a good choice because it is portable and isn't a finger food which would be pretty gross since I'd be touching the poker chips and all.

My table at the WSOP has been a good table with good vibes and comradery. Seemed like most of us were having a good time despite some of the wild chip stack swings. I saw Jeff Platt close to my table. I almost called out and said "Hey, you're Jeff Platt, I've seen you on PokerGo and you do a good job at what you do." but I decided not to, because I don't know if that kind of thing gets annoying to some more high profile people so I just minded my own business. I also saw one of the dudes from the Mechanics of Poker Podcast while passing through one of the hallways, at least I'm pretty sure.

Now that I've made Day 2, I have the whole day off and am by myself in Vegas. I'll do some more touching up on my short stack preflop charts and probably do a bit of sight seeing.

Could do without the nonsense but anyone can and would still post something interesting. Just could be the case that there really isn’t anything interesting going on.

There’s no real stars to follow anymore. No cool bracelet bets such as Dwan and Mercier ones that could have bent people over. At least on paper, who knows if they would have been paid.

WSOP complaints used to be loud and valid. No more playing in tents outside or events starting hours late. Now we have 20K events going off exactly on schedule.

High roller stuff hasn’t been good for WSOP imo. Big buyins and 1st prize but not very exciting. No basically unknown online stars to see for first time.

For me it’s basically playing down from 27 to 9 in Main Event. That’s the best drama of year imo

I am so glad that I don’t moderate this subforum right now.

if I win ever won the main event hopefully 20 years later I am finding something better to do than shitposting or namecalling on the internet. Yes, I could do that now and I'm not but still.

Looks like they aren't gonna hit 10, 000 entries like they were hoping. Looks like 7500ish right now.

Does anyone know the data on usual late Day 2 entrants? But yes doesn’t seem like it will make it.

Are only mixed games generally increasing?

It'll probably come in just under 10K. You're roughly 9,000 right now. Maybe 1 to 200 day 2 reg, and maybe about the same for late reg 1d. This is a tournament I feel that people play day 1 as opposed to Max late reging due to soft field and deep stacks.
