I listened to about 5 minutes of trump's presser. My brain hurts. How could anybody this stupid get elected. I'll never understand.

If Obama had governed the way he campaigned in 2008, Trump probably would not have been elected. Neoliberalism is what has killed the Dems, not racism.
The electorate has no way to vote against right wing economic policy that concentrates wealth in fewer hands. No way to vote against blue collar work being shipped overseas. They voted for a guy who might blow the whole system up.
