Zamani might be the least likeable person in this wsop

by TheGodson

I changed my mind and took your advice today and had 3 carne asadas tacos with flour wrap with some chips and salsa. Though there was a long line and I only was able to down 2 of the carne asadas on break, it was worth it. So thank you for the suggestion. I finished the final one at the next break.

Awesome, really glad you liked them! GLGL today!

I made a list last night before reading the posts with poker player's names I have heard of before entering the tournaments and their chip stacks left.

So the ranking is as follows:

Erick Lindgren 67th
Shaun Deeb 87th
William Foxen 120th
Stephen Chidwick 294th
Farah Galfond 484th
Joseph Hachem 633rd
Gregory Raymer 677th
Aubrey Williams 719th
Brian Hastings 754th
Todd Brunson 790th
Joseph Cheong 854th
Oliver Busquet 880th
Christopher Moneymaker 899th
Kristin Foxen 1279th
Nicholas Helmuth 1354th

Here are places you would get given a certain chip stack:
295bb: 1st
200bb 4th
150bb 25th
100bb 144th
75bb 292nd
50bb 549th
30bb 859th
20bb 1,061st
15bb 1174th
10bb 1273rd
5bb 1376th

I looked at my table draw and today is the first time I am chip leader at a table so that gives quite a bit of comfort knowing that I can't bust in a single hand at least while I maintain the chip lead.

Never been happier than seeing Kassouf bust. You know if he was still in, he'd be on the feature table all day. They just can't resist.

Glgl TheGodson, are you comfortable sharing you're real name so we can follow?

by TiltPocketAces

any random celebs/notable non poker players still left in tourney?

Former all star closer Dellin Betances is still in.

Because there is 0 justice in poker, the douchebag Deeb is bound to at least FT and probably win the whole thing

Pretty insane HH from Alex Foxen ...

Nguyen (active player) UTG8 JThh open 2.2x off 55bb
Foxen (LJ) AJo flat - covering the table
Hayasaki (K6cc) BB 3b small off 150bb
Nguyen 4b jams 55bb
Foxen calls

He said "i though you might 4b smaller with good hands" but still a sick call. Especially w a 150bb stack behind. Just insane how he can make that play with enough certainty with a seemingly uncapped huge stack behind. He 3b super small which could indicate that hes a weaker player doing it with a weak range but still very hard to be certain enough to put it in like that.

Those are the hands you see and get so confused because when you (normal player) make that call you're usually crushed

Justin "Hello Kitty" Arnwine sitting w 73 BBs

If Grinder makes the FT you better believe he will blow through every dollar of what he wins before he gets back to Florida

Saw someone on Twitter saying they played at the table next to him all day and they didn’t hear him say a word. So it sounds like he was very different from last year.

The BB’s 3bet was a misclick, he clearly meant to call, which changes the whole dynamic of this hand. And Nguyen was so drunk he was slurring his words. Still a wild hand though.

Ok that makes a ton of sense and makes it more reasonable albeit still pretty sick to make the call for that much. Commentators didnt mention the misclick 3b

I balance my range nicely when I call in Foxen's shoes. 70% of the time Nguyen has KK and 30% of the time he has this JThh and the flop is A44 rainbow one heart and it comes heart heart.

Nguyen was drunk that's the reason he got to call that off. Sure your main event draw you're getting a boring table with maybe some break even regs with a few crusher types and a few weak passive types and you'll be lucky to get enough to mincash but there are some stuff like this out there.

Now that they are in the money, a good way to track notables still in is via 25kfantasy. Anyone drafted or listed as bonus players will show up:

Justin "Hello Kitty" Arnwine sitting w 73 BBs

I did not know this guy before the WSOP. Super nice, chill funny guy. I got moved to his direct right halfway through day 2 of Colossus, he has about 2 mill when average is around 700k.

He raises utg, utg+1 3b, Justin 4b, utg +1 5 bet jams a 1.4m stack.
Justin snaps with AA, utg+1 has 55 lol.
Flop has a 5.

Doesn't get angry, or say anything, just asks how much and doesn't let it affect him. Good player from what I saw.

Look for Kyle Mart.

One of the weirdest ways i've ever seen someone punt off a playable stack on the bubble

what the **** is he doing?

edit: Moneymaker opened to 17,000 from the hijack with J9
on the bubble and then called a three-bet to 42,000 from Antonio Vargas who had AA. The flop came 877 and Vargas bet 20,000. His opponent called to see the 7 on the turn.

Vargas again bet, this time for 45,000 and received a call. The 8 on the river made for a full house on the board. Vargas put Moneymaker all in for around 100,000, and the player who is widely considered responsible for the 2000s poker boom made the call and was eliminated on the bubble with Madanzhiev and Zhaken Seitbekov.

I think he wanted to bust; the bubble package is worth more than another half the field from there. He lost that race too though. Maybe for the TV time it'll get too idk. Cause that was quite the punt on the bubble. Not a one move punt, the entire hand was a punt.
