British Politics
Been on holiday for a few weeks, surprised to find no general discussion of British politics so though I'd kick one off.
At least we're now spared the spectacle of Andy 'I like football and chips in gravy, me! And yellow buses! Not like them red ones down in that London! And I'm definitely not one of that Oxbridge Mafia even though actually I am!' Burnham trying to capitalise on a World Cup win in the long interval before the Unelected One condescends to appear in Parliament come September.
Lots is unconvincing but at least we have a PM who is talking about undoing the mistake of privatisation and centralisation
About bloody time but it's going to be a long hard slog to undo the triumph of thatcherism

Seriously though joking aside, commiserations. I'm not very impressed with the Argentine fans or players' behaviour lately. Hope Spain hammer them.
Farage didn't register his candidacy for the by-election he's caused until 10 minutes before the 4pm deadline.
Count Binface, along with three Official Monster Raving Loonies running (Nick The Incredible Flying Brick, Baron Von Thunderclap, and Howling Laud Hope), yet the biggest jokes are still Farage and Laurence Fox.
Personally, I'm backing Marcus White, leader of the Everyone is God Party, and their mission of "Empower Everyone, Solve Everything, and Fulfil Every Dream."
Can't argue with that...and they seem a fun time too! https://www.everyoneisgod.co.uk/about-ma...
