Reading the NVG thread about the airbnb robberry, someone posted an example of a conversation you might have with someone at the wsop. In the brief convo the participant revealed how much they had just made and where they were sleeping at night. No bueno. I'm probably not ever having a serious convo with anyone in a casino like that -- like I limit my questions to 1 or 2 with people I'm not very close with anyways and the guy asked him how he was doing. I also would have lied quickly and said I was staying at The Palms.

The date I started this journal.
The first mention of insomnia was post #13 of more than 4000.
I've had poor sleeping patterns dating back to youth. But things got hardcore in May of 2021 when I didn't sleep naturally for 3 months straight. Since then I have been able to get varying degrees of fragmented sleep. I thought I was doing good when I was averaging 10.5 hours per night or more, yet feeling badly unrested that day.
I didn't quite realize it at the time, but looking back, I was balancing my workload and energy levels in desperate territory mostly all the time. That was a real struggle.
I've had great sleep for a week straight now. Am I cured?
Who knows, who cares. I have succeeded in my greatest ambition - to improve my mental health ITT 😃
My sleep is now the best it has been in my entire adult life.
I don't feel like I have a disability any more. That much of my mental bandwith has expanded. I am on cruise control on an open freeway.
I also don't have any more excuses to not actualize on my beliefs.
I'm in no mood to write. Insomnia has bore its slippery head within me again. I put down the 90% vape cart for a week and expected to titrate sleep bit by bit, but by the 7th day it had vanished. I've taken benzos 3 of the last 4 nights; the hangover is to only paint using the color white. I'm back on the cannabis train too (choo-choo!), I have a huge move Sunday and can't affo

Plasma grenades bomb the surrounding area outside my bedroom window. I remain bunkered down in this trade war with Canada.
The AQI was in the 60s today, a healthy number for airborne particles. What that number doesn't account for is poison gas like benzene and formaldehyde. What I could easily smell was just that. There was also a visible smog everywhere.
I guess this is the new normal.
I've heard it's best not to repeat words or phrases in your sentences.

this might be wrong. it might have been mostly smoke being smelled.

New York City is AQI = 59 aorn. It probably still smells like ass. Also there's another front of smoke coming into Michigan/Ohio/Pennsylvania, meaning by halftime of the world cup things are going to be grim.
