I think I was having writer's block.

It's only the 4th day of hazards in the air.

Reminds me of Robin Sparkles building sandcastles in the sand.

The mental health gods gave me a final test a month ago.

My doc asked me if I wanted to switch meds to combat my insomnia.

I needed less than 2 seconds to determine this was absolutely the wrong course of action.

it wasn't more than a random guess that my meds were causing sleeplessness.

my meds work perfectly otherwise.

It's a good thing I have agency. Many people would have switched meds and had a worse time.

Today I stand extra tall. I made a great decision at the weed store and ended up with 42 grams of 5 different strains.

I paid $147. + a fat $10 tip.

It is the dog days of summer. Which means... whatever. I can smell chemicals in the air, the wildfires are still impacting. Which means... I feel compelled to stay inside all day.

Not very healthy for me. I need to roam around some during the day. Otherwise emotions bottle up and boggle up everything. Like I know I am not doing the correct thing sitting here typing, self-destructing slowly but assuredly, there is another way I am certain. But that method is lost on me.

So I will continue sitting. Typing. Breathing. Trying to find a word as good as "flaggelate" but coming up a wee bit short. Often suffering begets good writing. Which is the whole point of this thing.

AI just quizzed me on my vocabularly. I forgot whether equivocal meant ambiguous or not, and a couple other words I would never use in any setting. I believe it is much better to have a strong grasp on a smaller amount of useful words than having broader knowlege of more words that are not useful, or cumbersome.

Good writers don't leave their readers on an island when it comes to emboldened words. Words with big personalities should be properly defined by the surrounding ideas. I usually have the foresight to define a term that might not be understood by almost everyone.
