John Healey an incredibly astute pick. Having someone with an actual economics background rather than a middle-manager in a HR department in a bank immediately raises the competence of the government, and he is clearly a man of principles and integrity will will look after the armed forces.

The rest are whatever, aside from Haigh and Rayner who are the polar opposite of Healey and easy pickings for the opposition.


Usual early morning misogynist rant from Elracist, fuming that he wakes up alone every morning.

Haigh's and Healey's backgrounds are very similar - private education and degrees in political subjects, not economics.


Just on Burnham's ability to speak at a lectern without notes. First time I have seen that in any PM since Malcolm Turnbull. Obviously listening to him he has absolutely nowhere near the same charisma as Turnbull had but seems like he will be better than Starmer
