GGPoker Winning NL500/NL1000 Reg Banned for "RTA"
Hello 2+2,
I’m posting this because I believe I was unjustly permanently banned by GG Poker for alleged Real-Time Assista
Hello, everything same in my case. I am prerb winning PLO reg. Very similar dates, same emails. Just last email (PC setup) they didn´t asked me. They confiscated all my GEMs + Cusd, worth almost 20k. I asked them twice to convert GEMs but they declined.
My case is over, they already sent me my regular balance, that´s only reason why I am sharing this.
Update about my situation:
After seeing your messages here guys, I wrote one more email to their security, asking them to let me temporarily log in into my closed account and allow me to exchange GEMs. They responded with with same email which is already here, explaining my case was reviewed by senior worker etc (even if I didn´t asked for this) and that they are giving me access to log in and exchange GEMs.
So thanks to you guys, I was able to exchange 15k worth GEMs. Unfortunately 3,3k C-usd seems to be stucked there but this already feels like a "win" for me. Mentally I already almost accepted 18k loss.
One thing I don't think people fully appreciate is the psychological impact of going through a case like this.
At the beginning, you're convinced it must be a misunderstanding. You know you haven't cheated, so you cooperate fully and expect the investigation to clear your name. Days turn into weeks, and weeks turn into months. Gradually, you begin to realize that your account is probably never coming back.
Then your focus shifts. At first you're fighting to clear your name. Eventually, you're just hoping to recover the money you've spent years grinding for. When that finally seems possible, you almost feel relieved—as if you're getting something extra. But then it hits you: it's not extra at all. It's your own bankroll. It always was.
That's what makes this process so difficult mentally. By the end, you're no longer thinking about justice or clearing your name. You're simply grateful if you get back what already belonged to you.
Reading this forum, it's clear I'm not the only regular going through a situation like this. I think we should all agree on one thing: every honest player deserves a fair process, clear communication, and a meaningful opportunity to challenge a decision they genuinely believe is wrong. That benefits the entire poker community.
For me, this experience has raised serious questions about how these investigations are conducted and how players can defend themselves if they genuinely believe a mistake has been made. That's exactly why I think people should continue speaking out. Not to attack GGPoker, but to encourage transparency, accountability and a meaningful discussion about the safeguards against false positives. Silence doesn't improve the system—constructive discussion does.
And it would certainly red-flag the end bosses sooner than 200nl/500nl/1000nl decent regs

I completely identify with everything you've written.
Mentally, this process is incredibly difficult. In my case, it took away the passion I had for poker and the drive to keep improving. I'm still trying to find that motivation again. I couldn't bring myself to play for more than a month after everything happened.
At the beginning, I genuinely believed it was some kind of account security issue, so I cooperated fully throughout the entire investigation. Then came the shock of being accused of something so serious without any evidence being shared, followed by having to spend days fighting just to recover funds that were mine in the first place. Even then, they initially categorically refused to return my GEMS and C$, just as they have done in other cases.
The entire process is mentally exhausting. It's not just about the financial loss or the account itself—it's the uncertainty, the feeling of having no way to defend yourself, and watching months go by without meaningful answers.
The fight continues. We need to keep sharing our experiences and identifying new cases. Hopefully, one day we'll receive clear and concrete answers about how these investigations are conducted and what safeguards exist to protect honest players from false positives.
That's kind of besides the point. It would be GG that sets the threshold for what they believe to be superhuman, and whatever method and criteria they use are doomed to have lots of false positives when combing through millions of hands.
But whatever the threshold would have been, the end bosses would have been flagged quicker than decent 500nl players.
And since this isnt the case its highly speculative at best.
That's not necessarily true. "The end bosses" would be the regs at 2K who are making plays based on a ton of reads and are max exploiting any recs that might be at the table. A mass tabling R&C player will probably play closer to perfect overall, at least preflop, because there is no time to deviate from GTO.
if a mass tabling R&C 200/500nl player is getting much closer to GTO than a 2k end boss (not many recs to exploit there btw) there should be alarm bells ringing
And even though its fastfold there are more recreationals at 200 & 500 R&C than at 2knl, both in absolute & relative numbers.
I can only speak for PLO, but most of the time a 2K table will not fill up without a rec present. This is starting to veer off from the main discussion anyways, so let's just do a quick survey to see if my hypothesis holds any water.
For the players in this thread who have been accused of using RTA: Do you often make (non-trivial) deviations preflop based on who is sitting at the table, or are you more of the GTO type that sticks to a script?
I am prerb winner in PLO and you would need a lot of work to find similarities in my style and GTO 😃

Both of these posts read like AI to me.
I would suggest sticking to your own words because it's possible that banned regs could be making 2p2 accounts to bolster their case. I'm not saying you're doing that; I'm saying we can't know.
I guess this is just reality we live in, people using AI for many situations like that. Talked with one guy that you quoted, asking similar question as you . He is not native English speaker, so he use AI to put things together.
Same with my post/experience on previous page, I wrote down fast in my own words what I experienced and how i feel about the situation. And then ask GPT to put this together with little nicer words and structure. But I understand you, in general also not fan of this trend with AI because text start to look artificial and similar to each other.
This two guys both posted their usernames from GG and their specific case.
I agree completely that doing the writing with AI doesnt help making the case more credible
Even if it takes a bit longer I would suggest leaving AI alone for this chat, also for the communication with GG. They might get the feeling that something is 'off' and therefore think they are being played.
I've been told the em dash (long --) which I've seen a couple of times above is a big clear sign of AI since humans dont really use it, but AI frequently does. And I have to agree with that.
As in "Silence doesn't improve the system—constructive discussion does."
I got this too a while back. Only program I had running is Jurojin for the RNG which I assumed was allowed, although GG security refuse to say whether it is or not. Strangest part is I get this warning when I have my worst year probably on the site, barely over break even no Jackpots. And the funny part is I went from playing more theory to pure exploit strat so if you ran my hands on GTO wizard etc I am probably the furthest I have ever played GTO wise. Always been really careful to not have GTO wiz open when I play I can say honestly maybe in like 2 years playing there I had it open once by accident. Now they say I cannot even play because my location doesnt match, which is true I was playing in another country, although the player pool is the same. Was never a problem in the past I have played from like 5-6 countries. I really hope that when I can open my account again they dont just say I am banned for some random reason even though I havent been able to play. There are/were chinese accounts being made every 2-3 days taking all the top leaderboard spots on RnC by what I think was multiple ppl playing same account, and yet I am the one that is being accused of cheating

That’s a valid point; I see what you mean, and it makes sense. In my case, I struggle with English fluency because I’m Portuguese; although I understand everything, I have some trouble writing and often end up translating things in my head.
