Holy Myles Garrett trade. To the Rams for Jared Verse + 27 1st. I think that makes me a little more into the Browns offense knowing the defense just got worse.

Steep price for the Rams, as Verse is pretty good and next year's class is supposed to be great.

Lol Ty Simpson pick even more. They could have picked Sadiq or Lemon to bolster the offense even more.

Yeah I was surprised to see Verse included. Good win now move I guess for the rams, browns seem to be doing a good job retooling

Agreed, the Browns might actually have a chance to be good if they can find a QB in next year's class.

Giants have like 10 WRs . No clue what they are doing . Drafting any Giants wr not named Nabers is suicidal.

My take was this trade makes the TY Simpson pick make more sense.

Go all out the next 2 years with no draft capital to replace Stafford the start the rebuild with Simpson who ha hopefully improved sitting behind Stafford

I think it's bad to be worried about 2-3 years out when you're all in now. Going all out the next 2-3 years includes maximizing current draft capital. Not to mention, Simpson isn't an elite prospect and a lot of teams and scouts had him graded closer to 2nd round than 1st. Who knows if Snead and McVay will even stick around once Stafford retires?

What have the Packers won by drafting Love? And he was picked at 26 and not top 15. They lost in the conference championship the season they drafted him. Then lost the division round the next year. And Rodgers is still playing.

What's another good example?

I guess the Ravens drafting Lamar to replace Flacco but Flacco was already on his way out and Lamar had the job by the end of his rookie season.

How's it working out for the Falcons paying Cousins big money then drafting Penix?

Drafting Mahomes to replace Alex Smith worked out, but Alex Smith was also on his way out and Mahomes is Mahomes.

Colts let Peyton go to draft Luck, then Peyton won another SB and Luck retired early. This one was at least defendable with Luck being generational and Peyton's health concerns.

I know everyone’s known about the trade for a while but how high do AJB and Devonta go now that it’s official?

AJB will be mid 2nd, maybe even 1/2 turn by the end of August. And Devonta should probably stay about where he is.

I’d rather have AJB over CD and JJ but probably won’t have to pay that for a while, maybe not ever. There is going to be a weird dynamic with the RBs versus where AJB should be in the receiver rankings.

I still dont think Simpson was the correct pick for The Rams just that the Garrett trade makes it seem like they had some sort of plan in mind with it

Looks good enough. Nice value on Wilson and Evans. I might have gone 7th wr instead of Mendoza.

I should build more 2qb teams, I know in some cases it’s correct but I just can’t quit the Mendoza/Rodgers tier late haha
