Nacho's official defense is that he wasn't playing but was live coaching students and running sims for them, which to me is just as bad or worse.

I can barely believe ACR's response was "well you know if you played against Nacho he's a crazy guy who makes lots of jokes and a fun guy to have around, he didn't do it to gain an advantage". If Nacho broke any rules or laws, like using a solver while playing and coaching online. It doesn't make Nacho a cheat. Everyone breaks laws. It's like speeding or running a stop sign. Even though Nacho isn't admitting to cheating if Nacho was a cheat it doesn't make Nacho a bad person.

Sounds like a lack of understanding on ACR’s part, and that this “Nacho” person must have a way with words, kind of like he spoke with them about it and convinced them its no big deal. “GTO style player” you can tell someone who hasn’t got a clue wrote this.
Whether coaching or playing himself GTO Wizard or any solver tools that allow you to browse game trees with a poker client running shouldn’t be open.
Running a solver that is calculating is ok as long as you can’t browse the game trees. That is how GTO+ does it when you open Stars (and I assume other rooms).
