Hi 888 rep, I have some kind of problem. I am currently expecting a withdrawal, but the thing is, my account is not verified. The problem is that my documents are not getting accepted cause they "expired". I have a passport which was extended prior. I have sent two pages of my passport (main page and extension page) but they weren`t verified. Could you help me please?

I have only a little over $100 in my account.
I've been trying to verify my account for almost a month now.
I still need to verify the address.
I sent:
- passport main page
- passport registration page
- certificate of residential premises occupied in this locality, place of residence and family composition (in Russian "Справка о занимаемом в данном населенном пункте жилом помещении, месте жительства и составе семьи") for 12/17/2024
- mobile phone bill for November 2024
- bank statement for December 2024
- utility bills for November, October, September, August and July 2024
I also sent English translations of the certificate of residential premises occupied in this locality, place of residence and family composition and mobile phone bill

At first, technical support communicated in Russian, but recently they switched to English and documents in Russian were not enough for them.
My mobile operator is MTS and it only provides documents in Russian. Also, my bank is only in Russian by default. Maybe I can make a "Certificate of account status" for about $12. But I need to know for sure that this is what you need for verification. Please look here: link to sample documents
on page 2, "Certificate of account status" will suit you?
Will this be enough, or should I connect to another mobile operator "A1" that I don’t need and try to get documents in English there?

888 has today rejected documents without providing any explanation, not even an e-mail. I've never received an e-mail by 888 stating why my documents were not accepted. As per the UK gambling commission under which 888 is licensed, "...customers should be informed of the reasons why their withdrawal has been delayed."

While reading this gambling commission article (

), I've found that 888 systematically breaches basic mandatory key requirements for operators regulated by them. For example:

"Operators should not, however, continue to accept deposits indefinitely and then seek to rely on their AML procedures to frustrate a withdrawal request, where the operator should have sought that information earlier if needed."

-888 continues to accept deposits despite blocking withdrawals. Furthermore, 888 doesn't verify accounts before someone deposits. I know because I tried to verify my account several times before depositing, and never go an answer. Right after depositing, I was asked to verify it.

"If an operator does not have any regulatory concerns about a customer - for example, there are no suspicions of money laundering or any other risks to the crime licensing objective, and there are no suspicions that the customer has otherwise breached the operator’s terms and conditions - then there is no valid reason to delay the payout of the withdrawal."

-888 has extremely strict criteria for accepting verification documents, and doesn't allow withdrawals unless these are provided.

"...customers should be informed of the reasons why their withdrawal has been delayed."

"Equally, where an operator has decided not to process a withdrawal, it should provide the customer with a full explanation including the basis on which it has made that decision."

-888 rejects documents without giving a reason. As a matter of fact, the last documents I sent were rejected without even an e-mail.

"If an operator suspects or has knowledge of money laundering or terrorist financing, they must submit a Suspicious Activity Report (SAR) and seek a DAML or Defence Against Terrorist Financing (DATF) from the NCA before moving or returning customer funds."

-I know of many legitimate players who had their funds confiscated by 888. I would like to know if 888 submitted a SAR or equivalent before confiscating funds. I highly doubt it.

Please ask your relevant department to get back to me in a proper manner as defined by the gambling commission under which they are regulated. Ask them to send me specific reasons why the documents were rejected, and which documents they want instead. I really do not wish to go to court over $11000 I have in my account, but if I have no other choice, I will. The username is "supermonkey9".

I got a reply a few hours ago. Luckily it says that I only need to choose one of these options. I ordered a paid bank statement in English and will send this when they send it to me. I hope this helps.

Hi again 888rep, the new problem has come. I succesfully verified my account but now my money is stuck. I wanted to withdraw some part of my money but the withdrawal failed and I was asked to send bank statements to get my money on my bank account. But I don`t need it there. I need to have my money on Skrill as I requested. If I give my bank account information then I need to pay fee for the transfering of my money back to Skrill. Please send us a copy other than the one you sent us or another valid identity document, e.g. your PASSPORT or driver's license."

Again, a standard answer that does not contain information about what exactly did not suit them. I have the impression that you are deliberately delaying the verification process, since the information provided to you in the documents is valid, translated into English, certified by a notary. All information is visible and readable.
