[Global Poker] Unofficial Discussion Thread
Hopped on today and the Global Poker section is not there anymore.

Thank you.
It says edited if you or mods edit your comment. If you mean 'Fixed that for you', you're an ape.
See how mine says edited below my comment? (Happens when you or mod edits your comment after posting)
If he meant mod edited his comment; he's wrong. If he meant he was misquoted, you're both dumb, because
Posts 946,947 are the relevant ones. Post 946 was edited and the quote from tiger was clearly changed by the person quoting it.
FTFY. (See how it works; you hit quote, then replace it with either something funny, or a summary of what was said that bites through extra words)
He quoted the guy, then replaced the BS with words that cut through it. There is nothing nefarious about it. It's common knowledge what that means, and it's not nearly as malicious as you're making it out to be.
Anyway, continue on, reading this and other threads intently.
Is there a way to see my total balance while playing?
Is there a way to request my win/loss record from global? Specifically I’d like to know where I’m winning the most heads up, 6m or full ring.
Is it suspicious that there RNG certificate hasn’t been updated in 4 years ?

They can send you a spreadsheet with your entire history of withdrawal/deposit, but not sure about gametype transactions.
I've inquired about hand history, they will ask for account details, then after you provide the account information they will inform you they can not provide hand histories.
Guys, since I took part in these discussions. It's reasonable to ask if Global Poker works according to the same software algorithm iPoker net does.
Does it exchange "clean" - "trap" - "clean" - "trap" premium hands on the table.
You play a good (profitable) allin like AA vs 55 - 80% or you bluff and get a big pot having something like 86o and a straight draw -
and then you should fold the next A5s / top pair flopped / premium hand which comes to you in next 3-5 hands?
yep, win a hand, make sure you fold next premium hand. 100%. you got her figured, chief.
any other super duper sound theories we can confirm this morning while we have all these Mensa members gathered in one place?

Depends on EV of your last 2-3 tournaments, yeah. You will manage that, man, it's easy ))
So how else could they equalize players in cash games and tournaments to take the max commission? The only way - they put you on AQo on a buble after several profitable 70% allins. And your opponent "accidently" gets AK on BB. Watch out! ))
Btw, take a look, what happens when some joking guy goes all-in having 73o. What is his next hand? AJ, AK? Have fun playing online "poker"!
Several rooms are working this way. Including the biggest one (yes, that room who takes regular players off with the same hand AA closer to high prizes on Sunday Million 😃)
I can just guess it works the same way on Global. You push Ace High - you fold the next Ace High.
Says your location is Russia. Why do you even care about an American/Canadian site?
we're doomed
Haha, well. In fact, guys, I just wanna do what I can to stop this fooling people all over the word. When I played online seriously I spoke with a crazy number of players (amateurs/regulars) asked their opinions about what is going on, sharing my observations.
Pokerstars, Partypoker... Played against huge number of guys from Canada btw )) Cool times!
I'm not going to waste too much time, but will try to share what I know about a card dealing process in online "poker" gaming. Will players manage to get some ideas? I don't know, and should i worry? I'm a tennis coach! The life is not infinite, hope to manage some results in sports before it's not too late 😀
please don't procreate
edit: to all you claiming rigged blah blah with no evidence, ^^^ this guy ^^^ is what you sound like. don't be like this guy.

Well, looks like a pretty significant evidence! Man, what i saw on a postflop with all the cards opened in iPoker (I managed to open opponent's hands in heads-ups) happens once in 8,5 trillion hands. And 10 countries are overviewing it 😀

In fact, I simply explain all the software algorithm in iPoker net. From start to the end. Fresh news, lol ))

One of the players I used to play with a lot on global, but haven't seen in awhile posted this thread on reddit. (The same guy who did the 1,000 Jackpot SNGs)
The user appears to have been banned from reddit since posting. This player is actually decent, and when I was hyper focusing tournaments, he was hitting final table enough times that I noticed him. The player alleges that the action in cash games is drying up, then continues his thoughts with the following.
"This summer is when I first began to notice it, and I thought it was because of WSOP.
Nope. The site was just starting to die."
I'm interested in others thoughts on this, because starting the same time period he mentions (summer), I did notice I was getting a lot less action. I figured people or a botnet figured out how I play and simply countered me. People began folding to my raises a lot more often; so in return I bluffed more, (Not effective for long term gain, nor does it induce them to open wider - they simply wait to have it, then reraise/collect pot). I've also noticed the limpers with premiums is increasing as the user claimed. The only adjustment I've found that seems to work is to tighten up as opposed to loosening up and bluffing more which breaks even.
Anyone else notice similar? Any ideas as to what's going on? Is it simply a nitfest as user alleged?

Pretty much. The site has always been a fairly closed ecosystem made up of mostly bad, mostly older players, many of whom came directly from ads on Facebook. It sustained itself for awhile, but over time the worst players went broke for the last time and left and never got replaced by equally bad players. Many of the existing players who were small winners became small losers because they played in a very static way that didn't work anymore but they never realized that so they started saying that they were being cheated. Add to that many of the rewards got replaced with programs that gave more money to less people, and streamers publicizing the site to a player base that was more competent than the average player, and the site is slowly losing it's luster. The games are still soft but not like they used to be and without a massive marketing push there's no reason to think that the downward trend won't continue.

Interesting and insightful. Do you think global poker is going to go offline? I keep reading articles about them losing legality in some states, and I've read the various threads regarding sweepstakes laws which seem to indicate the company isn't operating in the legal grey area people think they are. The RNG certification hasn't been recertified in years as well.
I don't know if I'm way off base, but it seems like consensus is that global will shut down shop within the next few years barring some unexpected event or series of events. That said; when I play there, it doesn't feel nearly as doom and gloom as all the threads make it out to be, so I really don't know up from down on this one.

this is very well said and pretty much happening everywhere. and this is how it works. losers lose, stop playing. can't lose forever. winners either keep getting better and keep winning or stagnate and start losing. until the next boom it's a never-ending shrinking pie. and that next boom could be a very long time from now. the end.

circling back I don't get this. they've respected the authority of states that have threatened litigation to this point. federally I don't see hardly any businesses getting prosecuted for operating illegally that aren't directly stepping on some specific toes for the next ~4 years for quite obvious reasons. your state may get axed as legal Igaming spreads and more states want a slice of the pie, but other than that...

I'm
"The amount of players limp/calling AQs/AK 100 big blinds deep from everywhere, including the button, is staggering."
Exactly the same goes for iPoker net.
"I'm playing in a tournament right now where there are 16 people left and the average stack is 9.5 blinds, and still people are limping in with hands like AQ! I just played this hand on the stone cold bubble where half the table, including multiple double-digit stacks, wouldn't even risk 0.01 blinds to knock this player forced-all-in out and end the tournament."
The same also goes for iPoker net.
Yes, this is crazy when you play Double or nothing SnG and someone folds 1/20 of the pot not to take a short stack off the table to win a game. And this helps the software to distribute chips between players so that each player would win 45%-55% of games and all the deposits converts into the rooms commission.
Me personally - I have to call short stacks having garbage, because I see some "genius" player on BB who will most-likely fold his hand in stead of calling 1/20 of the pot, lol. In case I don't call having garbage - a short stack becomes a chip-leader due to extremely high blinds in the end of a turbo-SnG.
