Just to be clear, I don't often get offended by "tame things." However, there are certain private things in my past that random people on the internet often know things about that they shouldn't due to some indiscretions by other people in my past. Therefore, when a random person on the internet makes a comment that seems to refer to those incidents in a knowing way, I tend to react badly.

Sometimes I may react badly incorrectly, but this is me, take it or leave it. This is hardly the thread to debate this in, but if you feel my "double standard" is too much to take, please feel free to add me to your ignored list.

I apologize unreservedly to everyone for escalating this situation earlier, and will try to take the fallout from that as a teachable moment.

In any case, although I love the silkiness of incorporating eggs into a sauce carbonara-style, and tempering them into a creamy, velvety avgolemono soup with orzo, I think just slapping a runny yolked egg on top of pasta is an underrated move.
