It seems like there's a lot of conflict and unhappiness in the world these days. It gets me down. One of the few things

can nary we all find a second to pause in turn and acknowledge the service of yellow spiny ball
it was her favorite to chase from end to end of the house until suffering from the inevitable cracking of the outter saffron wrapper

the answer to your next question is yes

That's good to hear. Does the new one receive the same love, or is it considered an unworthy replacement like Missy as a stepmom?

green spiny has already been engaged, with purple waiting in the wings.

Rip old yellow

I got one of these for our voracious chewer, Ollie. Can recommend, except they are just slightly too small, so they get under the couch causing great consternation with the canine.

Beware they do bounce, and are quite dense.

She's gonna destroy them all until she gets a RED one. It's all so obvious.

I'd be tempted to wager that my mini schnauzer could destroy a steel ball bearing.

she has a dense ball like that, but spiny is preferred by us due to it's lack of slobber collection.
and yes, there is also a red one somewhere in the house.

The spiny ball I had in the golddog's days also made the claim it was better for canine dental health.

oh that's a good point...i suppose it scrubs the nooks and crannies a little.

speaking of which, someone is asking if we can go have a fetch. be back later

Did it also claim that it helped his regularity and cured his iron-poor blood?

I can actually see where it might have benefitted the health of his gums though. But perhaps I've just been susceptible to advertising and dental propaganda for decades ...

ETA: C'mon, RED! Make her beg for it 😀

Humble bark

Substitute dog Mara is chilling in the 40 degree wetness, and gives no F's...

oh my is that their food dish being rain doused or more a hopefully optimistic topic for discussion as some other sort of horticultural porch element

Not her food dish. I think it might be guarding a broken plank in the deck, whatever it is. Currently collecting rainwater, I guess.

Oddly enough, the cat, which is too skittish to pose for a pic, was seen eating from the dog dish earlier.

Buddy of mine left town for the weekend so I get to hang with Bruce. Old fat Pug, but a really smart doggie.

appears to be a hound inspired by food

Earl is gonna be jealous!

Returned to my bro's around noon and found Mara basking. I assume she started in the shade, her usual MO.

Frankie and Howard Easter

Honey loves to bask! (This was Easter Sunday.)

Basking in the 30 degree 'heat'...

Peter and Mara.

Tom, sincere condolences. You did the right thing. Titus was a good dog!

So sorry, Tom
