GTO+/CardRunnersEV?
This is the support thread for CardRunnersEV, which is hand EV analysis software.
Would be nice to be able to use the arrow keys to toggle between flops while in database analysis mode (:
Is it also possible to put the grey 'difference OOP/IP' bar (in the Equity graph expanded window) at the side with the highest percentage instead of the side with the lowest percentage? (In the absolute view) I find it a bit confusing as it is now.
Scylla,
I have five different files in a database all solved with the same flop but different bet sizings. I need to rebuild the database changing the ranges. When I change the range and select rebuild database only the currently opened file remains in the database.
Ok, we'll take a look at this button later today and update it to include duplicate trees.
From your description it appears that you're only dealing with a database of 5 trees, so for the moment please rebuild it manually.
If this issue involves multiple files for you then please mail support and we'll provide you with an internal fix.

Are you referring to the database window that appears when you click on the board cards (see screenshot above)?
We'll see if we can add arrow navigation there (instead of having to double-click trees to load them).

Currently it's indeed on the side with the lowest percentage.
Graphically, I don't think there's any other way.
Scylla, Thanks I have a 41 flop subset that each has 5 files. I will try to rebuild them manually for now
Scy, how are you?
I would like to apply negative incentives from the flop in database mode (I think I mentioned in previous posts that I wanted to keep the reports from the flop, and this would emulate deleting sizings I don't want to use and simplify them to just one).
The problem is that I can't resolve the tree again with incentives from the flop...
In the photo above, I set negative incentives to B17.25 and B13.5, trying to make it use 0% of those sizings and only use B6.9 or check, but i cant resolve again.
Is there anything that can be done about it?

In the current setup, setting an incentive alone will not make the trees marked as "Unsolved".
In order to accomplish this, you would need to make any edit whatsoever.
I'll make a note for us to consider creating some sort of alternative for this in the next release.
For example, when clicking on "Rebuild database", we could offer to copy the incentives over to the new trees.

Scylla, okay with the rebuild, please, if you can consider the following:
If I build a DB with 3 sizings on the flop and I choose only 1 per tree (any of the 3), I would like the rebuild to apply only to a selection of flops and not to the entire DB.
In a DB of 100 flops, I want 32 of them to have negative incentives so that I choose B30 only size/check; 58 flops B75 Check, and 10 flops B50/check.
I believe this is not possible today, not even by filtering the flops.
A simpler example to understand:
I want all boards with Ax to have negative incentives and allow sizing of B30 and check, and this should apply only to these boards (so the rebuild should only happen in that filter).

I don't think that we could offer a dedicated "Rebuild" feature for this that would be user-friendly.
It's probably easiest to store the database 3 times, and then delete the unwanted trees from each database.
After rebuilding, join the databases together again into a single database.

It could be worth trying something like CTRL+Rebuild DB? (applying a prior filter to select the trees we want to rebuild). Similar to the "clear DB" function, which deletes the unfinished or completed ones.
Skylla,
I am having trouble creating a custom stat on turn Ah6d5h2h for No Made Hands or WP and no Draws (No FD, No OESD, No Gutshots) There are too made too many types of FD to easily include in Not stat such as Nut FD, 2nd FD, 3rd FD, weak FD

If I'm not mistaken, then there's a "no flushdraw" stat in the list of available stats.
An alternative is to create NOT[nut fd OR 2nd nut fd OR 3rd nut fd OR weak fd].
If at any point you run out of operators, then you can store your current operators to the buffer with the downward pointing arrow.
Go here for a 4 minute demonstration of how to customize statistics: https://youtu.be/eKc7R-BHNQc?t=192
Scylla,
I created a custom stat that seem to work including NMH and WP and no draws as follows:
It is displayed in the main window but does not show up in the range analysis window?
This was indeed an oversight in earlier versions, but it should have been fixed in later releases.
Can you please check if you're using v174?
Yes I am currently using 1.7.4
Have you tried closing the range vs range tool and opening it again?
The tool won't update automatically when custom statistics are created in the editor; it will only read the custom statistics when it's started.
Should your issue persist, can you please mail your /config/customstats.txt file to support?
We'll try to reproduce your issue by using the exact same setup.
Quick question..
But First.. merry Christmas!
Does this solver Works with Xeon processors?
They do have A LOT of cores and threads..
And they are Very cheap..
In my country a 5500 Ryzen processor would be like 200 dollars equivalent..
Thats why I would like to know..

We don't have data on performance on specific CPU brands or types.
But reasonably, if the processor can run Windows, then it will be able to run any Windows program as well.
The only CPU type that can be an exception are the ones with a very high number of cores, but a low processing speed per core.
These CPUs are typically optimized to be used for servers, and not for high performance computing.
Hi Scylla,
Is it correct that the `profiles_.pfl` file in the GTO - Config - Data folder is a profile data for advanced game tree profile?
I would like to save it as a backup.
Thanks in advance
These settings are stored in /config/profiles.pfl (as opposed to /config/data/profiles.pfl, which is used in your screenshot).
Generally speaking, if you want to make a backup of all your custom settings, then make a copy of all the files in the /config directory.
It's not necessary to copy any of the files in the subdirectories.

Ah I see. Thanks a lot.

However, the trees must be exactly the same, if you want to compare trees between two different solving algorithms.
There can not be any differences between the trees at all (for example, in one tree the the bet size is 60, in the other it's 65).
Also, if multiple bet sizes are used in the trees, then the algorithms may still arrive at different answers.
This is because different bet sizes have nearly identical performance.
Different solutions of how to place combos between multiple actions are always possible.
As to your other question, I don't fully understand what you mean, but I don't believe that we have such a feature.

Gracias
