Donald J. Trump (For everyone else except Victor)
I assume it's still acceptable to have a Trump thread in a Politics forum?
So this is an obvious lie - basically aimed at
Hey dum dum, if the market goes up 30% in the next 4 years it's because Trump effed up monetary policy and completely devalued the dollar. I won't give him credit for it. The stock market IS NOT THE ECONOMY.
I was really commenting on your pre-emptive excuses for Trump, but I get that might be too subtle for you, especially with your current mental issues.
You seem to have a mental issue, you seem unable or unwilling to handle/process reality. It might be serious, and without help it's possible you may be harmful to others.
Seek help, for your own sake and for the sake of people you may encounter in one of your more extreme states.
Says guy with avatar of a dude with a shotgun.
You project as well as anyone!
It's only ok if America destabilizes countries and installs their own dictators.
And Putin isn't invading anyone. It's a boogeyman fantasy of the left.
We should be ok with China installing nuclear silos and military bases in Cuba, Canada, and Mexico if we're so against Russian having issues with NATO encroaching on it's borders when NATO EXPLICITLY PROMISED NOT TO.
NATO already have 3 countries bordering Russia frontiers buddy ….
Some for like 20 years …
Putin wrote and never recognized Ukraine as true independent country .
That mostly the reason (and the natural ressources too) .
You realize that Ukraine and Russian fighting over territories on the eastern border is about the same as Texas seceding from the U.S. and then China decided to fund Texas with weapons. We have ZERO obligation to Ukraine.
Yeah, No.
It would be more like Mexico attacking Texas in 1866, 30 years after it succeeded from their country.
Ukraine became a sovereign nation in 1991 and gave up it's nuclear capabilities with security guarantees that if they were ever attacked by Russia the West would be there to prevent annexation.
In bgnight mind and many others , seem it’s controversial that countries help other countries in some way during a conflict …

Putin has been invading countries since his ascension to power. By the way, Russia has had NATO on its borders for a while, and there was never a plan to have Ukraine join NATO until Putin invaded and brought widespread support to that.
You literally have no idea what any of this is about, do you?
Yeah, No.

Not even, because in Texas they seceded after being settled by Americans, and they were annexed into the US. Ukraine seceded to become an independent nation and the secession was due to an already existing ethnic group that lived there wanting to be free of Russian supremacism.
Only democrats, who know nothing about economics would think this. It's called rhetoric. Literally no Trump voter thought prices on eggs would drop the second he got in office. The lagging effects of economic policies take months to have an impact. He also inherited the most overvalued stock market in history. It NEEDS to come down 20%. We'll have a blow off top soon and then it'll tank. Trump cannot do anything to stop it.
Yeah, so I asked a question. WHEN? If he was lying when he said day 1 and immediately, WHEN did he mean? At least you can see now that he was lying.
And I'm not a democrat, I do know something about the economy, and I think this. But hey, what's one more thing you're wrong about?
His past behavior?
Vladimir Putin has led military invasions in several countries, notably Georgia in 2008, Ukraine in 2014 (including the annexation of Crimea), and a full-scale invasion of Ukraine that began in February 2022. Additionally, Russia has been involved in conflicts in Moldova (Transnistria) and has supported separatist movements in various regions.
Moldova transnistria is already on the target and has been for years.
Georgia is a target since 2008 when Putin invaded.
You are right never to trust communist democrats about anything but sometimes they are right for the wrong reasons

this is a very dishonest oversimplification
it really depends on when you draw the data because the parts russia occupied are more heavily russian than the rest of the country
russian is the language used in streets, movies, schools, and office buildings and if include "all of ukraine" it's the slight majority for language spoken at home as well
in my first trip to kiev i tried learning some ukrainian but regularly got told to use russian instead
despite it's incredibly similar to russian, zelensky didn't know ukrainian until he learned it after becoming the president
a good 1/4th of all ukrainians are ethnic russians as well
put it this way, there's good reason why when crimea was taken not a drop of blood was shed and there were no protests from the local population, who by and large were either indifferent or supportive
much like a lot of the region, ukraine's independence was always on shaky grounds and more due to soviet collapse than anything else

Rick most of the "russophone" rebellion from 2014 on was actual Russian troops on civilian clothes inserted in the country to stir upheaval.
Putin is a ****ing genius of unconventional warfare

I can’t tell if BG is claiming only sane people recognize that the Emperor has no clothes or if we should all just accept that Trump walks around naked and all his minions compliment his finery to appease him.

no doubt to the first part and yeah, you have to assume putin is somewhat good at a lot of the stuff he does given his longevity
but the point wasn't the people who actually wrested control were russian agents or not but rather that when this happened, and the local people just continued on with their daily lives instead of taking up arms or at least protesting
