Donald J. Trump (For everyone else except Victor)
I assume it's still acceptable to have a Trump thread in a Politics forum?
So this is an obvious lie - basically aimed at
i'm on record as supporting ukraine to the full extent
of all the places in the world where i've traveled, ukraine is legitimately my favorite, i love that place and it breaks my heart what is happening there
but your imaginary version of realpolitik is the lol, not the plight of ukraine and my disappointment that we don't give them unwavering support anymore
what imaginary version realpolitik?
surprise visits are awesome!
She really is becoming the GOAT...
So in other words no answer to what Trump is doing to lower egg prices, just blaming the previous administration. Personally I don’t care, I hope egg prices go up and up, but the yokels who vote for Trump might not be so happy.
——-
Something else to make them unhappy: purchasers of Trump meme coins have collectively lost 12000000000 (12 billion) while Trump and his family have made billions.
Only to cult members would this something newsworthy.
Crowd adores their cult leader! Unbelievable. Can't wait to share!
you don't live in a world with actual constraints and boundaries and will imagine any scenario that fits your confirmation bias
ukraine is nothing to the united states government, a minor partner we only paid the slightest attention to simply because of russia - you treat them like our greatest ally on par with england and france in wwii
you have no interest in facts and accuracy, you're a zealot who'll find any interpretation to "prove" the validity of their absurd claims

Ukraine is nothing to the US, that's why they have been front and center in the last 3 presidential elections. That's why the entirety of the Western world has been supplying them with munitions and intelligence while putting on a united front to their support. That's why Russia annexed them in a plan that is over a decade in the making, ever since euromaidan when Ukrainians kicked out the corrupt Russian-puppet government.
"you don't live in a world with actual constraints and boundaries" is the statement of someone who is trying to poison the well without actually arguing their position. if you had a real argument, you wouldn't have to resort to meta conversations about confirmation bias, zealotry, etc.
"you treat them like our greatest ally on par with england and france in wwii"
small countries with important geostrategic implications have more leverage than you are letting on. it's ridiculous to assume that just because a country has a relatively weak economy that means that they can't have any importance on the global stage. once again, look at Russia. as luciom pointed out, their economy is relatively weak and has been for awhile. however you would be an absolute moron to suggest that Russia's economy on paper evinces them as unimportant.
of course, the argument to be made here if you so choose is to say that you want a realignment of American interests against democracy and Europe, and towards countries like Russia that have strongman dictators. of course it would be a betrayal of everything the US and the West stand for, but that's your choice to make.
I can't remember the last time some unimportant nothing country had an emergency summit convened from them by the major powers of Europe. Must be my confirmation bias that is only letting me see things that point to the idea that Ukraine is a far more important regional ally than it actually is.
English is now the official language of the USA
Having a uniform national language is important to some Italians.
Having a uniform national language is important to some Italians.
Almost all countries in the world have official language(s) but ofc it's fascist to have one.
You guys are very boring.
/thingsthatmatter
Personally I can't get into free use
No emotion, weird conversations during about dinner plans while in cowgirl, for some reason launder folding
Call me a traditionalist
I'm with you, I don't get it either. Or the incest stuff. More of a milfs getting stuck in the dryer kind of guy.
Section 1. Purpose and Policy. From the founding of our Republic, English has been used as our national language. Our Nation’s historic governing documents, including the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution, have all been written in English. It is therefore long past time that English is declared as the official language of the United States. A nationally designated language is at the core of a unified and cohesive society, and the United States is strengthened by a citizenry that can freely exchange ideas in one shared language.
It’s necessary to have an official language… even though no one has ever designated it as one or thought it necessary to do so.
It’s amazing how people can jack off our nation’s history while knowing nothing about it.
I’m not even sure the president would have the power to declare an official language, that definitely sounds like another thing that is reserved for congress, so even more blatant hypocrisy from Trumpville

USA used to be exceptional in some ways along these very lines. Now USA can have an official language like the Europeans, many of whom retain royalty or like authoritarian countries. Maybe USA can have an official religion next.
