Donald J. Trump (For everyone else)
I assume it's still acceptable to have a Trump thread in a Politics forum?
So this is an obvious lie - basically aimed at
The crazy thing is, I think anyway, that you are mad because you want to defend being hysterical and persecuting people, but don't want to be called a fascist. You're cool with being called a racist. You're extremely authoritarian. You're mega-nationalist. You love state violence. But, no, you are incensed to be called a fascist. Well, I get that you have a special history with fascism there and I like to throw it in your face that you're a fascist, fascist.
I am actually fully against the state ever having any ability to coerce sexual behavior or punish sexual deviancy, as you obviously know.
I never even vaguely hinted to be in favour of any form of state violence to do anything to any adult who has unusual, uncommon, "weird", or otherwise historically targeted sexual preferences or practices. and you know that.
i am also not nationalist at all jfc I repeatedly stated I am profoundly disgusted to share a country with center southern Italy which I would love to secede from. how the ****ing hell can you claim I am a nationalist?
you just say fascist to say "person with politics i disagree with", like every ******ed communist in college does

You are a nationalist in that you love nationalism, not in that you love Italy. You probably love America more than Italy. And when I said you love state violence, I know it has not been about sexuality. You just love state violence period. The thing about the state having a moral duty to murder dissidents. You don't even know how crazy you sound every time you talk about morality.
You are a racist - admittedly. You are a statist, and your ideal state violently and ruthlessly opposes internal opposition.
What makes you not a fascist in general? not specifically an Italian Fascist
Just to follow-up on this:
1) No, we don't know anything. There's literally no hard evidence supplied.
2) We defer to the IOC to regulate this
3) Assuming you are correct in this case (does seems possible), from what I understand there is ongoing retooling of regulation and thresholds by governing bodies and organizations in this area. I leave it to the IOC and athletes/organizers to figure out.
4) wait, why the **** do you keep talking about this like its a core political issue in America?
both were failed due to failing an unspecified gender test, neither appealed nor even took a 2nd test to combat the chance of false positive - which is pretty damning
they initially failed to disclose the nature of the test those two failed, citing pressure from those boxer's national governing bodies, amidst the olympics, due to mounting pressure, they did finally disclose that they failed a chromosome test
the ioc then made a statement declaring that neither boxer was intersex, the following day, they issued a correction that they meant to say neither was transgender - basically confirming the results of the tests showing both had xy chromosomes
i feel for these women, they were both born and raised as women just doing there thing, but it was still a mistake to allow them to compete because they had a massive biological advantage over xx women
the notion that governing body was dropped due to corruption is insane, ioc dropped that russian governing body for general russia/ukraine stuff, if russian athletes themselves were not allowed to participate for russia then there's no way any russian governing bodies were going to be allowed to maintain jurisdiction
this was same reason russia was excluded from recent 4 nations hockey tournament of finland, sweden, us, & canada with russia being a pretty obvious snub) - the official reason for not allowing russia was "security concerns" but to make it even more clear, belarus, which is not a hockey power whatsoever was also excluded for the same concern and they were never going to be invited anyway

Continuing to arbitrate an international boxing match governed by the IOC to validate Trumpism. Got it. I think the point you continue to ignore is that no one is arguing against these cases (both real and proposed) needing appropriate regulation. Most of us just don't think burning down the house is the way to get there. You can continue to straw man (and yes, this is the very definition of what a straw man argument is) but none of this fundamentally relates to core issues. There are very few people arguing (not none, but very few) against your straw man argument. Don't be a loser and somehow think it justifies joining a fascist cult.
Luciom,
I've been looking at some of your posts, many of them awful of course, but I'm going to point to a good one.

Yeah, the Patriot Act was fascist. Apparently you are cool with calling things fascist when they exhibit some, but not necessarily all, components of fascism.
Was there something in the patriot act that was without any precedent before the 20th Century?
Are you posting in bad faith?
Are you a ******ed communist in college?
it is in general illegal to say people are criminals if you can't prove it in court, defamation exists in every country including the usa
uhhhh no. In general it's legal to say anything about anyone. If someone thinks a statement is defamatory they have to prove it in civil court and the statement being false is necessary but not sufficient to make the case. But if you say something you don't have to "prove it in court" to avoid a defamation penalty.
Innocent until proven guilty is a liberal principle. Fascists hate liberal principles.

wild you think that
A) this has anything to do with trump
and
B) that you believe i support him
but that tells me all i need to know about future discourse with you and the need to avoid it
Suddenly straw men aren't so appealing I guess.

Ah sorry, thought I was in the Donald J. Trump thread.
The topic is trans participation in sports as related to the actions of Trump's presidency. The point is that Trump's campaign acted in bad faith to weaponize democratic support for individuals rights into "they think men should be allowed to beat up women" (that's called a straw man proposal, we covered this). Virtually everyone agrees that it's a valid issue that requires thoughtful and nuanced policy making and regulation (although again, issue XXXth in priority but whatever). Dunking on trans people and pushing a false narrative that this is what any majority is arguing for is reprehensible.
So what is your point?
I didn't watch the SotU. Did Trump talk about trans participation in sports or was it all about transgender mice?

trump also banned trans people from the armed forces like they were banned by all presidents before , from both parties, for centuries, until Biden removed that ban in 2021.
Did he resegregate the Army like it was before Truman?
Did he roll back to FDR's military, back when the USA was bombing Italy?

technocratic control of the population, suspension of habeas corpus, denial of basic civil rights within a democratic system, that's exactly fascism.
and it didn't exist before because the rights weren't there to be removed until a little before fascism, and the technological means to do that weren't either.
fascism/Nazism main innovation was about, WITHIN A FIRST WORLD COUNTRY AT THE FRONTIER OF TECHNOLOGICAL ADVANCEMENT and with a constitutional democracy, doing unprecedented obsessive use of state power at scale.
think about the logistics of concentration camps, no previous precedent in world history at that scale within a population that "slept throught it" otherwise.
patriot act was exactly like that although more focused on fewer people.
that's actual fascism.
not killing criminals en mass, or being generically authoritarian, or treating sexual deviants harshly, which is something most countries did historically.

Obama in 2016 actually. Gay people only were allowed in the military in 2011. What do you think of those decisions and the reasoning behind them?
like, microbet, would you agree that if every crime with a sentence of 10+ years in jail was converted into death penalty on the day you lose the appeal by Congress tomorrow, right there in court, like the guards shot Yoh dead one minute after the court says you lost your appeal, that wouldn't be fascist in the slightest nor it would have anything to do with fascism even tangentially?
that it would be a fully legal, completly constitutional and democratic choice compatible with all western values and with freedom, at least under the American federal constitution?
fascism executed less than 1k people in 18 years from 1922 to 1939 lol.
do you understand the meaning of words?
This is the kind of sht I deal with in my hometown now because of MAGA:
https://www.reddit.com/r/huntingtonbeach...
Someone at our city council meeting standing up 5x to give the Sieg Heil.
And then there's this guy... the prototypical bully, that would go up to someone and say, "did you say something about my mom?"... ummm, no... "I heard you did."
This guy, is Luke Dennis, aka Skywalker, who is a known Proud Boy, a long time associate of Gracey (our city coucil leader), heavily endorsed Tony Strickland for Congress, who marched in the 4th of July parade last year carrying a large knife on his belt, is seen trying to start a fight by provoking Chris Kluwe, which is a common tactic of far right white supremacist groups when engaging with non MAGA protestors.
This is the MAGA mentality:
https://www.reddit.com/r/huntingtonbeach...
And if you guys want to say this is ok, and it's fringe, it's neither. It's happening where I am constantly, and people feel unsafe because of unhinged, whacked out white males, literally running people off their road in their trucks, and bullying anyone with a different view.

I think the ban on homosexuals was pretty stupid and negative for the country especially after we learnt how important male homosexuality was for the prowess of the navy of the British empire.
I can't answer about trans people because forum rules force everyone to claim trans ness is never a mental issue so under those guidelines my take would be nonsensical.
trans ness isn't a mental issue at all according to forum rules and I cannot deny or contest that here so I won't.
Tell that to the two girls in the videos posted ITT. If I thought it would make a lick of difference, I'd go find more for you.
You can't unring the male puberty bell, no matter how much estrogen you pump into a man many years later.
Post more flopping videos, yours was pretty funny.
Of course a girl getting drilled in the face by a Ball isn’t as funny but you’d be a special kind of ******ed if you believe she got anything worse than a minor concussion
THE PARTY THAT WE VOTE FOR actually snubbed campaigning on the trans issue
THE PARTY THAT YOU VOTE FOR took out anti-trans campaign adds during football games
My assumption is that if you look at this forum ever since the trans thread was closed Republicans are bringing up trans out of nowhere something to the tune of 10/1
Yall bring it up daily unprovoked and when something like that goes on for 4 months its definitely an obsession
when i posted you brought up the trans issue, UNPROVOKED, OUT OF NOWHERE. which you still haven't admitted. LOLOLOLOLOL. talk about obsessed.
