5. Genocidal statements such as "Kill 'em all" etc, are no longer permissible in the thread.
If anyone has any questions about the above, please PM me. I don't want a discussion about the rules to derail the content of this thread. If anything needs clarifying, I will do that in this thread.

The source of that statement is Hamas. Hamas has spent the last 1+ year saying things that aren't true to try to get leverage. LOL Hamas announcing they caught Israel off guard by. being so flexible, without providing any details, and Victor just accepting it at face value.
That being said, by titling the article as they did the editors of the Jerusalem Post are clearly signifying their desire to put pressure on the Israel govt. to get a deal done; regardless of whether Hamas is telling the truth or not. Which there is almost no chance is true.
They provided details. You should read the article. They said they would not opposed a continued Israeli presence in Rafah or Netzarim. That's a big concession.

A. We have no way of knowing if this is true or not.
B. We dont know what the conditions for these so-called concessions are.
--For all we know, Jerusalem Post (along with who knows who else) completely made this up to put pressure on Hamas to make such concessions, which they have no intention of making. There is a game of chess going on, but you think it is tic-tac-toe.
I would love to be wrong, but I suspect there aren't enough living hostages left for Hamas to have any leverage to get a deal that would be acceptable to them. And they are completely indifferent to the suffering of the Palestinian people.
So they are just going to drag things out indefinitely hoping the geopolitical situation improves. As they are indifferent towards the Palestinian people, they have nothing to lose through this strategy.
Again, I am endlessly amused that on any given day if Victor went through Israel MSM, he would unequivocally state 95% of it is Hasbara lies. But the rare story that confirms to his biases is undoubtably true.

Not to unconditionally support Sach's pro Russia and China propagandism; there is some political expediency to blaming everything wrong in the world on Netanyahu.
