3. Graphic Images need to be in spoilers with a trigger warning.
4. Wishing Harm on other posters will result in an immediate timeout.
5. Genocidal statements such as "Kill 'em all" etc, are no longer permissible in the thread.
If anyone has any questions about the above, please PM me. I don't want a discussion about the rules to derail the content of this thread. If anything needs clarifying, I will do that in this thread.

Just to be clear, you're admitting here that Israel isn't taking precautions to avoid civilian deaths? Killing anyone in "the war zone" (i.e., a city) is acceptable?
I can't emphasize enough the point that "Israel's not doing war crimes" and "Everyone else is doing war crimes, so it's okay for Israel to do them" are mutually exclusive arguments. You've really got to pick one or the other and stick with it.

The story was already covered by Israeli media. The guy who brought the tangible evidence of a possible attack similar to Oct 7 by Hamas was dismissed because nobody thought it was actually possible. It was a failure of the imagination similar to 9/11. Since 9/11, we can conceive crashing a plane into a building using only a box cutter.
Truly, nobody gave Hamas enough credit. Everyone believed the flood effect would be possible only from the North (and those plans they'd seen). Quite a mistake.
The other big error was in how long Hamas could hold a Kibbutz. But the Hamas Kibbutz intel was so solid by having their own workers collect the data for years, that their plan was remarkable.
What's weird is using conspiracy thinking on this, but not say on the pagers. Which one is more incredible? Frankly they're both incredible (that they "worked"). The full details of the pager op are madness when you read them. So many things have to go right and then stay right. They then had to assassinate the one tech who figured it out for example. That operation was and will be movie worthy.

Iran's whole air defence is gone. They have legit concerns of holding on to the regime now.
Syria got toppled because Hezbollah is vaporized. The missile stockpiles are gone, and Israel got so many of those weapons that they're creating a division that uses them.
The Houthis are getting pumped.
The whole Axis got slaughtered.
Turkey and Israel are #1 and #2 now probably in that order, regionally.
And all this with a conservative block coming across the USA and Canada to support this politically.

its looking like Don ended the genocide so I am not sure why you are happy about him. Biden would have been happy to slaughter them to a man and let the real estate developers build skyscrapers with their bones. all of Israeli media is absolutely irate about Don ending the murder spree.

We're addressing what at best is delusion and at worst is very poor taste. The state Gaza is in is not an "amazing achievement". That's for sure. But beating the Axis was.
yes Oct 7th was a tactical victory and an amazing achievement given that it was against a far superior force.
we can argue on if it was strategically correct but its undeniable that Hamas won that battle.
