5. Genocidal statements such as "Kill 'em all" etc, are no longer permissible in the thread.
If anyone has any questions about the above, please PM me. I don't want a discussion about the rules to derail the content of this thread. If anything needs clarifying, I will do that in this thread.

On Oct 8th and the months after, Israel started getting attacked on at least 5 fronts. It was 6 for a bit.

Think of this another way. Israel had the pagers and walkies bugged for almost 20 years, and didn't use them. So who attacked who, and who FINALLY hit back when it became necessary. They could have blown those pagers any time before.

When you live next to homicidal maniacs you have to take precautions. This was yet another genius move by the Israelis. This single handedly(no pun intended) neutered Hezbollah, Syria and Iran.

There were a couple civilians hurt but for the most part these things blew up the bad guy's. In fact they were designed to only effect the person with the pager to minimize civilian casualties.

The "kids" were either child soldiers or sent to be martyrs by their parents/Hamas. As soon as this area is ridded of Jihad there will be peace. When you attack Israel bad things happen. In fact, has anything good come from these attacks? Has life in Gaza become better or worse?

When you consider how few people died but how quickly this shifted the war in Israels favor I do celebrate it. In fact, the world should celebrate it. This operation has transformed the Middle East.

I have a question. Now that a "ceasefire is imminent" how is Israel gonna continue the "genocide"?
hopefully they dont. but who knows what they have planned. maybe they plant explosives in all of the food and childrens toys that they let into the strip for the next 20 years and then take everyone out. Im sure many would think it was CRAZY and be in awe of the surreal way it would outplay Hamas.
Seems like we are nearing a deal where Hamas will remain in control of Hamas. Pretty much a worst case scenario for the Palestinian people of Gaza. There is clearly no future for them under Hamas, who will be focusing all their energy on consolidating control, rebuilding their power base by stealing and controlling all the aid, and repressing the people. And no neighboring country is going to normalize relations and open the border with a Hamas controlled Gaza.
Their entire city-state destroyed and no future at all. Just darkness. Israel will be fine, and even the people of Lebanon and Syria have possibilities (but no guarantees) for a brighter future without Iran exploiting them. But Palestinian situation really is hopeless.
There only hope for a future was putting pressure on Hamas to leave. But the rest of the world for whatever reason chose to support Hamas, so here we are.
