Annex Greenland
Take back the Panama Canal
Tariffs on Venezuela, Mexico, Canada

--And none of these things is going to happen. So I am not sure why everyone is pretending like his Gaza plan is going to happen either.

I'm sure that a huge swath of the Dearborn and anti-Zionist voters elsewhere didn't hold any delusions that Trump (who famously moved the US embassy to Jerusalem in his first term) would be good for Palestinians in Gaza or anywhere else. They were engaging in what is known as a "protest vote". They were saying "the Democratic Party is a Zionist, imperialist party just like the Republicans, so we're gonna show them that unless they make legit changes in policy and action, they can't take our votes for granted any longer."

Whether that's a wise strategy or not can be debated, but this wasn't a case of anybody getting grifted.

And, by the way, the centrists and Dems have to take Trump's horrors just like the left does, so them punching down at these poor voters is obviously just them coping and seething, as they say.
