Sportsball doesn't decide who lives and who dies, or what the disposition of the most powerful nation on earth is going to be for American voters, or what the disposition of one of the most influential nations is going to be in the case of British voters, or what the disposition of their own nation which will have the most impact on them in everyone else's case that has to deal with a two party system.

According to the internets the Qatar Investment Authority (QIA) has a significant stake in "The Economist Group" through its subsidiary Exor. I hope you can appreciate that that is exactly the point of the QIA, is to throw around billions of dollars in Western institutions, private and public, to manipulate positions and policies.

Regardless, this particularly author did write for Al Jazeera, has done a tremendous amount of journalism over the last 10 years, pretty much all criticizing Israel, and having nothing bad to say about Qatar. And this article should not be treated as unbiased journalism; it should be treated as extremely biased propaganda.

I agree the article is a bad faith attack but I can't see it endorsed by the owners of the economist group (who have business interests in Israel startups among other things), rather as just a bad editorial choice made by the lower level people who make daily decisions for the economist

There is plenty of evidence, physical and otherwise, reported in mainstream news, that Palestinian children are being intentionally sniper shot by the Israeli army. If I didn't think you were psychologically immune to evidence I would gather it for you and present it to you. It takes about 2 minutes or less.

What elements of genocide are lacking in Gaza since you supposedly know more than the experts in international law who have formed a consensus and obtained rulings in international courts that there is a genocide going on? Qanon? How so? I'll play along and pretend you're sincerely saying that but please draw some substantial parallel. It's highly likely I have more knowledge on this topic than anyone here, including any Israelis. My education on it started more than 15 years ago and I've viewed the conflict as the vanguard in the fight for human rights and the sustainability of human civilization. I've simply read more books and discussed the topic more than, probably, any of you. My history in this forum on this topic goes back to the original thread, maybe more than a decade at this point. I'm happy to discuss any sub topic. This thread is a lot more surface and driven by current events, although the current events certainly provide a lot more clarity as to the aims of the Zionist project. You can see in my history going way back here I was describing the intentions of state of Israel in ways that have proved accurate. I was banned for this several times because the pro Israeli posters of that thread, who were way more knowledgeable and more sophisticated than the pro Israeli posters ITT, were obsessed with silencing me. Now what I said then is considered standard understanding on the Left.
