Edit: RULES FOR THIS THREAD
Posting guidelines for Politics and Soci...
These are our baselines. We're not reinventing the wheel here. If you aren't sure if something is acceptable to post, its better to ask first. If you think someone is posting something that violates the above guidelines, please report it or PM me rather than responding in kind.
To reiterate some of the points:
1. No personal attacks. This is a broad instruction, but, in general, we want to focus on attacking an argument rather than the poster making it. It is fine to say a post is antisemitic; it is not okay to call someone an antisemite over and over. If you believe someone is making antisemitic posts, report them or PM me. The same goes for calling people "baby killers" and "genocide lovers". You are allowed to argue that an action supports genocide or that the consequences of certain policies results in the death of children, but we are no longer going to be speaking to one another's intentions. It is not productive to the conversation and doesn't further any debate.
2. Racist posts and other bigoted statements that target a particular group or individuals of such groups with derogatory comments are not allowed. This should not need further explanation.
3. Graphic Images need to be in spoilers with a trigger warning.
4. Wishing Harm on other posters will result in an immediate timeout.
5. Genocidal statements such as "Kill 'em all" etc, are no longer permissible in the thread.
If anyone has any questions about the above, please PM me. I don't want a discussion about the rules to derail the content of this thread. If anything needs clarifying, I will do that in this thread.
Please be aware this thread is strictly moderated
The MSM tried to push the narrative that there was a systemic policy of sniping children.
the world is so confusing to you. its pretty sad.
DoyleBrunsonFan is remarkably bad at reading. In a way, it's impressive, in however many hundreds of posts, he hasn't once come anywhere close to fairly approaching the points his enemies are attempting to make.
I'll be optimistic and hold out hope that one day he'll realize that nobody here hates Jewish people, instead, we hate the actions of the Israeli state (in particular, all the murder they commit). Maybe going to a pro-Palestinian protest somewhere in America would help; these protests typically have a large number of Jewish anti-Zionists.
Your posts have a creepy Qanon vibe. It's like you read one of their articles or watch a video then quickly come to the forum to parrot what you learned. MAGA and Qanon is not a good mix.
A bad mix? Of two things that have been inextricably tied to each other since the beginning? You share some 95% of MAGA and QAnon's policy positions. WTF are you on about? Are you one of those fascists who likes all the fascism except for the part when Trump makes embarrassing tweets?
Everybody's hated Israel since long before Elon owned Twitter. You say it's an algorithm, I say it's because people are opposed to the systemic oppression and murder of a captive population. Who knows?!?!?
Totally false. People voting for what they dont want has been catastrophic.
The only hope for democracy is if we will only vote for something we want.
By voting the better of the two viable options you’re not voting for what you don’t want, you’re voting for what you most prefer. That is just a mathematically true statement, it can be proven deductively.
I've personally known a number of Jewish anti-Zionists, and none have given me the impression they're ashamed of their Judaism (i.e., the typical excuse Zionists make for the many thousands of non/anti-Zionist Jews). They merely regard a Palestinian life as equally valuable as an Israeli one, a concept Zionism violently rejects.

lol get someone without crippling autism to read my post and tell you what i mean
The MSM tried to push the narrative that there was a systemic policy of sniping children. TheyÂ’ve dropped that story and havenÂ’t touched it in months because the evidence never panned out.
The crack man continues his comedy tour by suggesting he is the most knowledgeable poster in here. Mind blowingly funny.
When the MSM, who see their job as covering for Israel, accuse Israel of something it's because 1) it's true and 2) it's so egregious that, for some journalists, reporting it takes precedence over their job security which they know is tied to their devotion to Israeli propaganda. So the current situation is that Israeli crimes against humanity expand far beyond what the MSM reports, but if the MSM reports such you can take it, and more, to the bank.
If you spend years learning about something from experts, and years delving into the details of a topic and debating it, you're going to be the most knowledgeable person on that topic in most settings. I'm not bragging. I only bring it up to counter slander against me. If you said you were riding ski doos the whole time I was reading about this I wouldn't claim I spent my time better or look down on you.
I will admit I don't read any books by anyone, other than Benny Morris, who supports Israel. But most of what I read on the topic is written by Jewish scholars. In the U.S. I come off as radical, but for the rest of the world I'm just a standard, reasonable person.
the whole world despises Israel, not just that part of the world. Inshallah they start to hate USA as the true evil soon.
To child murder afficionado BOIDS: the above is the full extent to which I bothered to read your moronic words. My reply makes sense in this context. Maybe you snuck some other zero-content quip in there, as is your want, to render my reply illogical. In any case, you ****ing suck, do this planet a favor and go ****ing kill yourself.
Sick job clowning on autistic people, too. Maybe one day you won't punch down! Just kidding, British Tory child-****ers like yourself don't do that.

You know you're arguing with someone who idolises Andrew Tate and celebrates when antifa protestors are killed by neo-Nazis. Some people are beyond repair.
seriously, I cant imagine thinking the MSM has an anti-Israel bias. all they have done for decades is cover up their crimes. you know what is going on is so much worse than what they report. in fact, we have known that since the invasion began bc Palestinians have told us and they dont lie like the Israelis.
it's so goddamn weird to see British reactionaries so gleefully nut every time Israel successfully murders another child
at least American reactionaries have some kinda indirect skin-in-the-game

I didn't know that, but I've never been able to not get furious at child-murder supporters/Zionists/fascists regardless (see the post above yours), so, whatever.

This is so incredibly short sighted it's hopeless but it does help explain why America is unlikely ever to get healthcare for all.
Not a big fan of tea but sure i have some sympathy with you despite your nonsense. Politcs is tough.
I also havee sympathy with people who vote 'least worst' even though it's catastrophic thinking.

Voting "least worst" is an argument anyway. Not voting is an argument. Voting for someone you know is going to lose is an argument.
But voting "worst worst"?

That usually requires thinking about others voting as if they were us.
Given the thread we are in, an example I defintely sympathise with is people appalled at the situation in Gaza voting against the democrats. 'Worst worst' imo by a long way but I get it. Much harder to sympathise with the people who mock them for voting trump but I try.

I don't think any of these people voted for Trump. Victor didn't.

In your world, stating facts and knowing history means being bad at reading so I’ll take it as a compliment.
It's been discussed in this forum and it was in the UK press. E.g.
Imagine how isolated in their trauma Arab-American voters must have felt to turn to Trump. But that’s what happened

Yes. Candidates who’ve wanted to expand healthcare access keep getting less votes in primaries and general elections. If you want universal healthcare vote in all elections for the candidate that most aligns with that.

Well, people are:
A: stupid
B: highly susceptible to getting fooled by media (social and traditional) into supporting things that are against their own best interest and the best interest of their friends and family
If we operated in some kind of vacuum where all policy arguments were laid out right next to each other, and every individual could walk up, study the options, and carefully select their favorite one, your point would be well taken. But we live on Planet America, where insurance industries (and other entities who are directly opposed to universal health care) throw billions of lobbying dollars at the same exact lawmakers who would be the ones to write universal health care into law, and where the other side doesn't have the means to do similarly.
Seems pretty futile to vote for (x politician working directly against the system) when (y multi-billion-dollar conglomerate) can and will pay off 100,000 people to vote for their opponent, doesn't it? Democracy!
