These are our baselines. We're not reinventing the wheel here. If you aren't sure if something is acceptable to post, its better to ask first. If you think someone is posting something that violates the above guidelines, please report it or PM me rather than responding in kind.
To reiterate some of the points:
1. No personal attacks. This is a broad instruction, but, in general, we want to focus on attacking an argument rather than the poster making it. It is fine to say a post is antisemitic; it is not okay to call someone an antisemite over and over. If you believe someone is making antisemitic posts, report them or PM me. The same goes for calling people "baby killers" and "genocide lovers". You are allowed to argue that an action supports genocide or that the consequences of certain policies results in the death of children, but we are no longer going to be speaking to one another's intentions. It is not productive to the conversation and doesn't further any debate.
2. Racist posts and other bigoted statements that target a particular group or individuals of such groups with derogatory comments are not allowed. This should not need further explanation.
3. Graphic Images need to be in spoilers with a trigger warning.
4. Wishing Harm on other posters will result in an immediate timeout.
5. Genocidal statements such as "Kill 'em all" etc, are no longer permissible in the thread.
If anyone has any questions about the above, please PM me. I don't want a discussion about the rules to derail the content of this thread. If anything needs clarifying, I will do that in this thread.

Israel has confirmed it was Hezbollah. Given Victor's post and where he gets his "news," I wonder if the Islamist propaganda machine is going to try to argue Israel did a false flag attack against itself. I would not put this above the Islamist propaganda machine, and I would not put it above Islamist supporters to uncritically accept this.
Hezbollah denied it was them. thats all I said. I got that piece of news from USA mainstream media.
I wonder if Hezbollah is calculating because of not wanting to disturb the Olympics western media is going to soft report this; and then count on them being able to ratchet up the victimization propaganda machine if/when Israel responds.
Yes. Major rocket attack. The target was kids playing soccer at a park. Tons of casualties. And a further barrage of rockets aimed at the rescue vehicles trying to evacuate casualties. Whoever did it has basically declared total war against Israel, and demonstrated they will follow no rules of engagement at all.
On top of this there was a rocket attack at a some sort of gas field, which Israel intercepted completely. Which Israel has made clear is a major red line not to cross. So whoever
considering bolded, this sounds like an Israeli attack
and fwiw Im not saying it was an Israel false flag or anything. just that the ole double tap on children and rescue workers is a hallmark of Israel and the USA.
also, I believe Hezbollah over Israel lol. esp when Hez has not targeted civilians in the last 9 months.
Instead of speculating and making claims against one another, how about we wait for more information.

Im just pointing out the absolute hypocrisy over an Israeli supporter getting mad about double taps on children and rescuers. I am old enough to remember a few weeks ago when Israel did this exact thing to kids playing soccer in the same fashion. in fact, they have done it countless times.
it wasnt even worth mentioning that Israel bombed a field hospital today bc no one here cares and it happens so regularly.
Israel has already dropped like 2 nuclear bombs worth on Gaza and people are still allowed to advocate for the war and celebrate it. not sure why anyone calling for another nuke should be moderated.

The Western left keeps reiterating how there needs to be a ceasefire, but they kind of just gloss over the part that Hamas refuses to back down from any of their maximalist demands...

It's the Israelis who want the status quo. It suits them. In particular they don't want international diplomatic recognition of Palestine as a state, because that would hamper the imposition of Netanyahu's ultimate goal: 'They must agree to be ruled by us.' And that's a foolish goal. It is absolutely never going to happen.

Normally these extremists would be happily taking credit for any attacks on Israel but Hezbollah is trying to deny any involvement this time. They probably know they stepped over the line and their time is numbered now. Sounds like they killed Druze children which is nowhere near as honorable as killing Jews is in the eyes of their supporters.

Hezbollah had taken extreme precaution to avoid civilian deaths. they have also meticulously claimed all of the strikes on Israel that they have executed.
So Lebanon released an official statement condoning all violence and calling for Israel to unilaterally ceasefire in response. And Iran says Israel should just suck it up and take all the pain coming their way. And if they respond at all ,Iran and all its proxies will escalate.
Seems like fair and reasonable responses from good faith actors.

Nah. There is a very long history of Muslim Arabs in this region acting horribly towards Druze, and no one cares in the slightest. Really, you should read a little on the recent history, especially as it pertains towards Syrians and Lebanese Shiite (Iranian proxy) groups and their treatment towards Druze (who are actually much more indigenous towards the region than either of these groups). It is brutal. No quarter given at all.
The western supporters are still mostly under the impression that the animosity is just towards Jews. I do know the Druze have been subject to prejudice but I’ll have to read more into it.
