Edit: RULES FOR THIS THREAD
Posting guidelines for Politics and Soci...
These are our baselines. We're not reinventing the wheel here. If you aren't sure if something is acceptable to post, its better to ask first. If you think someone is posting something that violates the above guidelines, please report it or PM me rather than responding in kind.
To reiterate some of the points:
1. No personal attacks. This is a broad instruction, but, in general, we want to focus on attacking an argument rather than the poster making it. It is fine to say a post is antisemitic; it is not okay to call someone an antisemite over and over. If you believe someone is making antisemitic posts, report them or PM me. The same goes for calling people "baby killers" and "genocide lovers". You are allowed to argue that an action supports genocide or that the consequences of certain policies results in the death of children, but we are no longer going to be speaking to one another's intentions. It is not productive to the conversation and doesn't further any debate.
2. Racist posts and other bigoted statements that target a particular group or individuals of such groups with derogatory comments are not allowed. This should not need further explanation.
3. Graphic Images need to be in spoilers with a trigger warning.
4. Wishing Harm on other posters will result in an immediate timeout.
5. Genocidal statements such as "Kill 'em all" etc, are no longer permissible in the thread.
If anyone has any questions about the above, please PM me. I don't want a discussion about the rules to derail the content of this thread. If anything needs clarifying, I will do that in this thread.
Please be aware this thread is strictly moderated
See if you can figure out what I meant.
This might actually be the most morally upstanding military operation in history (from the standpoint of avoiding collateral damage and civilian casualties).
Iran's ambassador injured
its a blatant and textbook terrorist attack.
unless its definitionally impossible for white people to do terrorism to brown people.
how is it terrorism to attack operatives lol, you simply don't want Israel to be able to defend itself and you get particularly angry if they defend successfully

you guys think that only "operatives" have pagers? as I said, it is definitionally impossible for white people to do terrorism.
after all, the children that got injured were probably messengers for Hezbollah anyway so its all good.
I never said it wasn't an attack.

Seems like the attack specifically targeted devices used by Hezbollah. Don’t get too frazzled. Maybe time for a Dief joke? Lighten the mood a bit.
Of course blowing people up in a shop is an act of terrorism. Israel is a rogue terrorist state.
Help a brother out here, how many people have to die before it's considered an attack on Lebanon? More than eight, apparently.
Lmao Hezbollah has been launching rockets at Israel since Oct 8. **** around and find out.
Maybe they got Dief this time? A little bone for the Hamas boys, tough times.

again, if you are going to argue that they only targeted Hezbollah devices then you gotta show some evidence. this is a typical problem with the pro-Israeli people. they just make things up.

Nothing made up, waiting for more info to surface. Everything so far is pointing to Hezbollah operatives being the main target, maybe fake Israeli CGI Bollywood news idk. In the meantime, I’m going to ignore you and enjoy the good news rolling in.
But was the girl who was killed a Hezbollah fighter or a human shield? Or perhaps she was killed because she was on top of a Hamas tunnel. Real puzzler there.

this is called moving the goalposts.
Some people here that are pretty angry that terrorists aren’t allowed to indiscriminately target Israelis without military consequence.
Let’s all keep pretending that Israel needs to be absolute angels during a war while Hezbollah and Hamas try their hardest to kill as many Israelis as possible (they’re just incompetent)

You can pretty much tell when Israel eliminates some terrorists by watching the uptick in nonsensical posting and singular Twitter posts without any accompanying thought itt.
