2024 NFL Off-season Thread

Herbie hurts ankle, expected back by W1 though.

Picking the playoff teams is about as hard as picking six to miss the playoffs.

Shooting from the hip I'd go with these six to miss:

New England
Denver
Las Vegas
NYG
Carolina
Seattle

Just checked odds, my only erroneous pick would be Seattle.

Arizona, Washington, Tennessee, Minnesota are more favoured to miss.

Why not 1. Chargers?

I also think Tennessee is really going to suck this year. They got receivers and that's it.

Unpredictable with 1. Chargers. Maybe Harbaugh inspires them a la Dan Campbell and they rumble to a 7-seed. Never works out this way but I'd expect them to get 4 easy wins against LV and DEN.

Tennessee is a good shout, Levis will have to do something with all those pieces and it doesn't seem likely.

this is bc the AFCN is football's toughest division

I mean the division only matters because they have to play the opponents in it but the Browns actually have some equity to win their division and the Chargers, well don't.

This would also be a much bigger factor if the Chargers didn't play everyone in the AFC this year.

I would have considered packers cuz that’s a tough schedule but with the exception of Philly, all of their tough non-divisional games are at home

The game stinks but the kickoffs are VERY different. Would advise anyone to familiarize themselves on these before the season starts - otherwise u will be in for a shock.
