McLaren is bound and determined to cost Norris a WDC and make the constructors tougher than it needs to be.

They've already conceded the WDC... it's not within reach even if mathematically possible. Team Championship however, is up for grabs.

Maybe Zak thinks that someone who hasn't managed to stay first after starting on pole ever doesn't deserve the WDC because that is the only explanation I have for not swapping a second place.

It's not really bullocks if they don't take every advantage they can at any point in the season... their actions, and/or lack of action, is a clear indication of the perspective of the team.

It is clearly a heads up fight within the team... AS LONG AS the team championship is not compromised. Mac doesn't care about the wdc this year because it's out of reach.

I know we had a weekend's worth of action in between this comment and my response but it was an absolute disgrace in this day and age that someone like Logan Sargeant made the grade - not only did he get a contract but it got renewed! There is way too much money in F1 even for teams like Williams to make these mistakes and for this alone I have to wonder whether another team should be invited onto the grid to further push them down the pecking order

Lol - Stroll is another disgrace that should be moved to Indycar. The sport has moved on from 10 years ago when you had fathers buying seats for their sons. Aston is now a very successful team (commercially) and ahead of the new engine change in 2026 need to get a settled drive line up to transition to the new car and that is without Stroll.

well....I feel like Hamilton's experience and race craft is holding up well but I do think he's slipped quite a lot in Qualifying the past season and a half. He seems way less consistent than before and gets outperformed by George on the regular
