NCAA FOOTBALL 2024 MEGA THREAD - WELCOME TO THE PLAYOFF ERA
Just 8 days until Florida State plays Georgia Tech!
A lot happened while you were away:
Texas and Oklahoma joined the SEC
The Pac-12 went out in a blaze of glory:
Oregon, Washington, USC and UCLA are headed to the B1G
Utah, Arizona, Arizona State and Colorado are headed to the B12
Cal and Stanford along with SMU are somehow headed to the ACC
Poor old Wazzu and Oregon State are now aligned with the MWC in some sort of in-flux relationship
The conferences are huge now, and the schedules are wildly imbalanced. Florida might have the hardest schedule in the history of the sport, while Missouri's playing a sun-belt slate.
FSU and Clemson play each other, but then play ZERO common ACC opponents
Utah/Baylor and Arizona/Kansas State play non-conference games against conference opponents
LSU and USC play in Vegas!
Boise goes to Oregon, a team they've never lost to!
Texas at Michigan!
Alabama at Wisconsin!
Notre Dame at ATM!
Clemson vs Georgia!
And there are some incredibly juicy new conference matchups:
Texas @ ATM is back!
Texas vs Georgia
Oregon vs Ohio State
USC @ Michigan
USC vs Penn State
And then the bizarre:
UCLA @ Rutgers is now a conference game
Syracuse plays home and away against Cal and Stanford for some reason
Half the teams have new coaches, transferred quarterbacks, or both!
Let's get it on!
Hunterbelievable!
How do you catch that ?
Travis Hunter is having a monster game for Colorado. I'm wondering if he gets to be football Ohtani in the NFL and wear two hats/play both ways?
NDSU was absolutely shredding colorado secondary and then they just... stopped passing for some reason?

He's got the skill, but holy **** would that be a tough job between the conditioning, wear and tear, game planning, etc. Don't think he'd be able to get paid enough to justify it either, even after his rookie contract. But I guess if he's good enough, his draft team could find a way.
Have they even thrown at Hunter's guy the entire game on defense?
There is exactly zero chance an NFL team will allow him to play corner except for a few snaps a game at most
What a profoundly stupid timeout
I want to believe
Two minute warning wtf
Dude was literally tackling Hunter and the ref wasn't going to call it. Insane.
Underthrown pass is undefeated.
joe flacco special to ice the game.
Ya ok
Congrats to subprime on a 5 point win at home against an FCS team. You really proved the haters wrong my guy
Why are they throwing?
Errrm. Am I missing something?
I want to believe
Throwing on first down was inexcusable
Wild to pass on first down and just Cristobol it
The Venn diagram of people who think Deion is smart and people who fall for scams is a perfect circle
home field clock cheating going on.. lol. stole 5 seconds while the ref still had the ball in his hands..
Refs just ****ed NDSU on that snap.
If that QB didn't have a noodle arm that would have been a TD.
Zero dignity in this win
I will actively root for this team’s demise (with apologies to actual colorado fans who have done nothing to deserve this)
