Without a better read, I don't think that we can make a super double top secret river fold here. Our odds are just too good.

This just looks like a simple calldown to me. His speech play might actually be honest... a good but not great hand that wants to force everyone out of the pot while it's still ahead. Throw a rack at his head if he has QQ.

I think this is played great if we bet the river. Donks can be flushes, but they can also be just about anything that called the flop because fish are weird. Our A blocker is nice since it reduces the chance of us getting raised.

I would call a raise. What we do if we face a 3bet probably isn't worth factoring into our river bet decision simply because it is going to happen so rarely given our A.

Nothing fancy here for me... just going for the check-raise-raise. If we're lucky, we can still get some protection when UTG 3bets our check-raise.

you gotta treat the 1bb bet like a check.

So the question you must answer is: do you check back your nut flush 2x in a row?

Personally I bet this flop. Since you have the nuts, there is hardly any hands that villain can have that should lead here.

Fold.

Too many players behind if not double suited and even that could be a fold. Looks pretty, plays trash without position.

Button, hijack we can call.

Makes sense thanks for response!

This is a great hand archetype to be posting and asking questions about.

Ture
Most HH are some obscure spots that are worth almost nothing.

It's only "weird" if you're not versed in how the ranges of each player interact with the board. Here's V's 3bet range. As you can see, its pretty heavy with hands that we are either crushed on not that far ahead of. And we are OOP.

I probably wouldn't raise an unknown weak player on any street postflop in this hand.

Results oriented about call.

Call would be just awful. You really shouldn't call from the SB short, particularly when the opener can apply pressure on the bubble. However, I would might shove against a big stack on the bubble. Depends on how active he has been. He may have a lot of junk that can't call. He could be opening 70-100% of hands. Also, depends on how valuable the min cash is and if it is the direct bubble, etc. Would tend more to shove with low 15xBB. He is getting about 1.55-1 here to call so he should usually call.

This is actually quite easy to prove:

Do a higher percentage of people earn 100k at poker or 300k in other careers/life situations/concomitant career investments (like a business owner with a liquidity event)?

Approximately 4-5% of people make 300k annually. Not families. Individuals. Some states are represented higher, and I actually think this number is higher because there are so many retirees/others collecting significant amounts of tax free income that don't show up in tax forms like certa

Why do you think over 5% of people make 300k annually? Because of … MLPs? lol dude what are you talking about. I like that you used the word “concomitant” then flex that you went to a trash tier, non-target ivy by randomly taking a dig at state schools as if USC/michigan/UT isn’t more prestigious than your Cornell literature bag.

“Do 4-5% of poker players/standard losing reg who plays 5 days a week, etc... make more than 100k?” is exactly how you do NOT think about it btw. You think in terms of comparable hours and don’t consider “losing regs” specifically

I bet on the turn [...] to see where I was at.

Don't do this. But if you do, then at least pay attention to the message you've been given.

Don't get frustrated with a hand like this. You flopped a monster hand on a very wet board and got a horrendous runout, it happens, and on boards this wet it happens a lot. Folding shouldn't leave a bad taste in your mouth, it shows that you are on top of your game at that moment

so a tournament was winding down on the final table. one of my dealer buds was playing and chip leader with 2 left. another dealer bud tells me "I hope X wins, I've got a stake of him so that would be another thousand bucks for me!" Then the level ends and it's his turn to deal for a down for what could be the last level of the tournament.

I understand swaps and stakes happen often, but it feels like a real ethics issue to have a final table dealer working when he has a piece of one of the final players with a big chunk of money and a trophy on the line.

a couple minutes after he told me, I questioned him on it and he basically blew up at me, "this happens in every poker tournament anywhere in the world, deal with it!" and I'm like, sure but not between an active dealer on the final table!

seems like if he had any balls he should tell the director to cut him off at that point due to a conflict of interest.

as it turned out the player took a bad beat and finished runner up. but if the other player got wind that the dealer had a vested interest in his competition, the slightest slip up or dealer error could lead to questioning the integrity of the whole company.

Name of the software?

https://www.flopzilla.com/

T blocks a ton of his value range maybe even a majority so not folding. Not a terrible spot without a spade but it is a multiway river raise.

Yeh, easy shove for psb with flush draw and overcards.

Is this solver still available? I'm interested in trying it out!

Hi Donkey I sent you a pm

Hello everyone,

Just dropping in for a quick update on my bankroll challenge. Last week, I had a bit of a slow grind, but I'm still pushing forward. My bankroll currently stands at **\$54**, and I've been participating in \$1 buy-in tournaments.

This week, I'm planning to ramp up my efforts significantly. My goal is to hit the leaderboard at least three times and play over **1000 Battle Royales**. It's an ambitious target, but I'm ready for the challenge!

I also want to take this moment to encourage more of you to get involved in the forum discussions. Sharing our experiences and strategies can only make us better players. So, let's keep the conversation going!

Remember, my journey started with just \$10, and through patience and persistence, I'm making progress towards that \$1000 mark. If I can do it, so can you. Let's motivate each other and celebrate our victories, no matter how small.

Wishing you all good luck at the tables, and let's crush those Battle Royales!

hello i'm Adam i'm curently playing on GG poker at nl 25 and i'm crushing the limit, and i'm seeking (50/50) staking deal for nl 100 for the next 300k hands in 4 months,i'm confident i can get 5bb/100 winrate which means (2.5bb/100 =7.5k$) for my backer in the end of the the staking period.
that's my last 100k hands graphs played in rush&cash and reg tables:

the pokercraft deosn't calculate rake but all my sessions are played for leaderboards and i'm getting 30% rakeback.
thank you!
