Meanwhile if you go into the Palestine thread and suggest that Oct 7

lies

or that Israeli children shouldn't be bombed it automatically implies you are in favor of genocide of all Muslims

lies ofc. esp about the "all Muslims" crap.

but if you are referencing the PTSD that Israeli children experience then well, its pretty weird for you to bring that up considering before Oct7 something like 80% of the Gazans children had PTSD and the at this point its gotta be 100% and PTSD probably doesnt even describe it any more.

why did you bring that stuff up? you did bc you were trying to justify the Israeli response bc Israel is an ally of the USA and there is no limit to what the USA can do. so yes, you were trying to support a genocide. you still are.

and theres a lot of other reasons why you support genocide in that thread. you could just get educated. but there is no amount of knowledge that will shake your faith in the West. not any number of dead babies or obliterated civilians will even give you pause.

Wow I'm surprised you guys find calling so easy. He has tons of AX I thought.

Result:

Spoiler
Show

I folded. He showed 44.

alright thanks a lot guys

by Brokenstars k

1.1-1.6 is the range I give in DB analysis.... lower end more likely to be overcalling in some spots, higher end with more possibility of overfolding/putting too many strong hands into call nodes.

alright thanks a lot

It's pretty ironic that as much as a germaphobe Trooper is, he's cut cashews with his bare hands and was cooking up brittle without gloves too.

Being a germaphobe and a Maga anti anything health related can do wonders to your brain. “Does not compute”.

Anybody else here from Northwest Indiana/SE Cook County?

Interested in a home game. Prefer Limit mixed game but also interested in NL tournaments or cash.

Would like to know this as well from people who are actively using a VPN. Do you cashout through an agent? Or does the site pay you? If the site pays you do they not require any proof of address? Do they ever ask for ID? really bizarre

Past performance is not an indicative of the future, and yet, so many people do just that, over and over.

People are idiots - just throw your money in an SP500 index fund, forget about it for 10 years, and come back. Instead people think they can time the market or predict all this other BS and end up not beating the SP500 return.

I don't believe this villain at all. It appears he plays chip toss not poker.

How often does A8os win at showdown, rarely. Personally, I would fold pre flop (kickers matter to me). It got you in to a bad spot here lol

by Manbearpigsreal k

Value bet that! This is what you wanted when you checked the flop, otherwise it was a bad check IMO

it was an awful check on the flop anyway….

What if the 6 was a 4?

I'd call probably then.

You shouldn't even call many hands from the small blind to a normal raise size in a raked game. Arguably you should not call any. A9s isn't really a good call from SB facing a 3x open, let alone an 8.3x open. Not even vs a fish as you are going to be so dominated when he opens that large.

I don't mind a flat with AQs, but it's a super narrow range we should flat with.

I agree we shouldn't have much if any calling range from the SB in a raked 1/3 game. I'm just wondering if V's raise size changes anything, such that we now have a calling range, and what that looks like. If it's super-narrow, what else is in that range, or what should be in that range?

Like, what are we 3B'ing here? JJ+/AK? It would suck to 3B with QQ, have V jam, we fold, then he shows JJ. It will suck to flat call with AQ and be up against AK on an A-high board.

V's raising $25 off a $400 stack. If we 3B to $100, his most likely response would seem to be jam or fold. That makes me think we'd only want to 3B AA/KK/AKs - mostly hands hoping V will jam, not fold. If we 3B with AQs, and V flat calls, the SPR will be so low going to the flop that we'll be in an awkward spot on a lot of flops.

That's why I'm wondering if hero has some hands like A9s and A5s in his flat calling range, when V is fishy and takes this sizing. Those hands will be easier to get away from on A-high boards and boards we completely miss, but can also make some sneaky 2P or better hands that can stack a fishy V prone to over-playing big PP's and AK.

The hand changes a lot depending on whether villain is a fish.

In theory you're supposed to check a lot vs IP callers with tight ranges. Checking everything if you don't have more sets/2p than villain is a good simplification.

Yeah not a great turn for you which means you should be doing a good amount of checking. If you think villain will play very aggressively vs check you can just XC JJ-KK and check all your value. Personally I would XF unless they go small.

Weird river size by villain definitely take a note on that, seems close I might fold because of your large flop sizing.

Must be losing my touch… maybe time to hang up the gloves

Most players, even LAGs, try to milk people a little bit and don't shove 1.5x pot when they have a monster.

I would call it off vs a LAG. He knows you would have raised with the strong or even medium Kings and is trying to push you off a lower pair most likely.

Agreed. Either that or he's very polar here and has a monster or absolute air, in which case he has more air than monsters and hero should call.

Still live?

I like the check jam turn, he can fold a hand like QTdd ( I think me cant call it EV+) and I deny the equity of all his draws. And if he call with JJ+ I have my equity too...

Flop cbet dont like too much really in this board because we like to have too raises of villain imo

But you can delete the C:\Program Files\Hand2Note\logs folder if its size is bothering you; it will not affect the H2N functionality in any way.

What site are you playing on?

Hey i play on ggpoker

The problem with general statements like “bet bigger/smaller on twotone boards” is that they don’t consider what our betting range is built around.

Eg on low boards, the aggressor’s betting range is usually built around overpairs. So we do in fact see smaller bets on twotone boards, simply because these overpairs are worth less when the board is drawy. We would rather size down and get called by more low equity hands, instead of sizing up and getting called by a range that has so much equity against us.

That is, a small bet vs a weak pocket pair generates more EV than a big bet does against flush draws.

On higher boards however, we often bet bigger on twotone boards instead. This is because the types of hands we are betting are very different: we have more marginal hands like underpairs and middle pairs when the board is high, and these hands are more interested in betting when the board is rainbow - once again because they have better equity when called. So we carve out a small bet range around them on boards like KT5 rainbow.

On a board like KT5 twotone however, we are typically not that interested in betting hands like Tx. So there is no reason to use the small bet, and our betting range is instead built around hands like TP+ - hands that mostly want to bet big.
