User "MoneyTaker69" is alleged to be superusing on GG Poker.
In December, Moneytaker won at 90bb/100 on GG Poker in 8,900
I mean, I agree that it's a good time for stars to capitalise on this, but it would've been nice to hear from GG about the safeguards they have in this area, you'd think some reassurance would be coming out from them. It says a lot that they haven't done that.
Like the movie Tommy Boy, they would be taking a dump in a box and labeling it guaranteed
I wouldn’t fall for any reassurances, and just assume whatever crazy business that is possible is going on somewhere on site. Then if you still happen to be winning and/or having fun continue playing if you choose
Unless Doug Polk or any other guy with a lot of public brings this to people attention, most players won't know what's happening. I have more than 300 players and few knew about this. We are talking about pro players,,,cant imagine fun players...
This thread is dying. Proves GG was correct in keeping their heads low and waiting for this to blow over.
There have to be more superusers. Do people have access to data to show it? Probably more will be exposed.
Just bumping because this is getting overshadowed by ACR but I think its equally important.
There is just no way this one guy was the only one who found out and exploited this flaw in the software. And if the other cheaters were smarter they could have potentially taken huge amounts of money out of the games.
Ambassadors and people linked to the earnings produced by their networks will never have the slightest intention of exposing themselves.
GGpoker is just waiting for this hype to end, there are 500,000 monkeys online playing and it will always be like this, stupid gambling addicts. no one will bother to expose themselves decisively in the media. People like negreanu, holz, all in pav etc and all the ambassadors in these rooms really disgust me.

Nah more like saved by the news cycle moving on, finding something else to focus on and well let's be real majority of poker players are indeed idiots as pointed out many pages ago. So exactly no different then real life.....news cycle moves on old news stories get buried. Idiots of the world can't focus on anything for more then a few mins at a time. The new news cycle just happened to be about ACR.

I think I read Galfond site is likely to be coming to a couple of states later this year.
As most people prob agree with it is a high likelyhood that there were other users than moneytaker69 who had access to the same information and were using it more sophisticately without getting caught. I know we got the statement from GG claiming that they fixed the bug that lead to this hack, but other than that do we have any reason to believe that there are not people still having access to real time equities that can use it to continue cheating? What evidence do we have that it is "safe" (relatively speaking) to play on GG again?
