look on the bright side, you aren't going to go the way of another recent preseason AP #1 and miss the Dance outright

:p

regular season underachievers tend to overperform in the tourney

Pitino's comments today seemed to imply or even directly state that the NCAA could become irrelevant or defunct. I love that. No doubt he has a bit of acrimony towards them, but there is a valid point there. In the 60's and 70's when the NCAA was first overtaking the NIT, well before long it became a foregone conclusion that the NCAA had established itself as the big kid on the block forever. They got more and more arrogant and corrupt, you could say a lot like the PGA Tour, the NFL ... but eventually their solo king of the hill thing faded out. I hope it happens here. It could happen fast if it starts. Maybe some oil barons will put up a few trillion and jump it up.

the NLRB / Dartmouth ruling certainly isn't good news for the NCAA

MWC finish is gonna be fun

SDSU, Utah State, New Mexico and Boise all have 3 losses, Colorado State has 4

SDSU, Utah State and New Mexico play all 4 opponents

Colorado State and Boise play the other 3, having just played their second head to head last night

Tons of wild races this year.

No team with less than 3 conference losses in

Big XII
Pac 12
Horizon
Summit
Mountain West

Big XII I just think Houston will eventually gain enough ground on everyone by virtue of being that much better than everyone.

Pac 12, Arizona needs at worst a split of the always tough Mountain Road Trip, otherwise it's a very wide open race.

I think the ACC race between Virginia and UNC is pretty interesting too.

B1G West always carrying the B1G East. Smh.

lololol Wisky

Louisville just got majorly screwed by the refs at the end of their game with Syracuse.

Ruh Roh...trouble brewing in Chapel Hill?

Broken YouTube Link

Just a small blip.

I know UVA has been on a good streak lately but I'm not sure I'd call them contenders yet.

They're still 3rd favorites on most of the betting sites and UNC is around -450.

Caleb Love & taking the most absolute loser ball shots possible with the game on the line, cannot think of a more iconic duo

Saw Cal draw like 11k the other night. Madsen was a great hire.

Good to know Caleb is still doing Caleb things.

Arizona is so talented but I have zero faith in their abilities in a tough spot against a good team.

Tommy Lloyd's Arizona = Ryan Day's Ohio State

having to ref a game that Norm Stewart & Billy Tubbs were the head coaches would have sucked. They are amongst the biggest ref whiners in basketball history.

Unacceptable.

Big one in Coral Gables today. Hopefully we see a more focused squad.

i think they just said UK lost 3 straight at home for the first time since '66

time to get rid of that coach, no?

I dunno, I hear he’s overpaid. I bet the buyout is ugly.

Good thing UK can probably afford it.

Nice win for Tim’s squad.

I don't know if Cal is ever getting fired. But if March doesn't go well...I mean Tubby Smith was never technically fired...he just decided to leave UK to go to Minnesota...

But yeah fanbase is absolutely fed up. Also UK is 16-7 and still has @Auburn @Tenn and Bama. You lose those three and there isn't much margin of error for the rest of the games...
