I love the way the Orthodox (that I've known) raise their young kids to be wild. Not kidding. Interesting combination of some pretty strict things, but generally very permissive and kids being nuts.
These folks got to see what it's like to have rockets/fireworks randomly shot into their area.
Really not sure what level this is on. Lik, the Gazans probably know more about the experience rockets murdering them than anyone in history.
And if you are talking about the students, is it some sort of threat and brag about the heinousness of Israel?
COLUMBIA UNIVERSITY — History has again repeated itself as communism once again devolved into mass starvation. The commies at Columbia University lasted less than twelve hours before running out of food and pleading for humanitarian aid, setting a new record for the collapse of communist food supply.
"Okay, time-out on the intifada revolution, we're out of pizza rolls," said Tara Gentry-Smith, protest organizer and self-proclaimed commie. "I'm going to go see if the people we just assaulted will send us some DoorDash. Ugh, why are we always running out of food?"
Communist protestors had barricaded themselves in buildings over the weekend and soon realized they had no means of production to feed themselves. Activists tried to enact communal ownership of the snacks they did have, but supplies ran out quickly.
"Man, why didn't we take over the food court?" lamented protestor Drake Jones. "I'm so hungry. I haven't had Chipotle in almost eight hours now! Still, I bet the people of Gaza are inspired by our sacrifice."
As of publishing time, the protestors had told onlookers that true communism hadn't been tried and that they were going to start a new, even better collective one building over

Part of why conservative/reactionary comedy just doesn't usually work. The last sentence there depends on it not being immediately obvious to the listener that the author of the joke doesn't give a **** about the people of Gaza. Like, if you actually want the people of Gaza to starve, it doesn't make sense to say that.

mongidig is kind of funny and he gets how to do conservative/reactionary humor. You have to unapologetically be an ahole. It's like how Falcon was pretty funny.
Its traditionally a war tactic to belittle the enemy or put them in the same cabal of whatever is hated or that could lead others to hate as well. But there is a legitimate voice in arguing and protesting against what the IDF is doing. They are absolutely committing genocide on the Palestinians in my opinion.
While ive basically come to the safe conclusion over the last 20 years through history and the mindset of those who argue for it today, is that communism, in its historical representation as well as modern folks who claim to support and it in its new altered meaning of the ideology, really are and always have been some of the simplest and mentally rekt muther****ers behind the nazis.
But trying to paint the protesters as such when their position, which is the disgust for Israel's military leadership, which will also end up being on the right side of history, is pretty idiotic and two completely separate things.
Hamas will make sure the protesters end up on the wrong side of history.

That was a Babylon Bee article and I thought it extremely funny and insightful. Different strokes for different folks.

welcome comrade

Sometimes I feel like I am the only one that cares about the Palestinians people, and the rest of you guys are just in crazy land. The answer of what to do has been the same answer since October 8th, and hasn't changed since. Palestinians give back the hostages, put down their arms, and the war is over, and aid comes flowing in. Easy peasy.
The only issue to work out is what to do with the senior Hamas militants and the Palestinians that directly participated in October 7th (execution, prison, asylum, etc.), which is probably like 500 people total out of over 2 million.
The fact that the most humane, sensible and obvious answer isn't part of the discussion at all just shows how no one else really cares about the Palestinian people and it is all posturing.
remember when BGP was going on and on about how precision weapons would save lives. now even CNN is reporting on that foosball strike on children.
you guys proly wonder how I can never be wrong. is pretty simple, just assume the most depraved and psychopathic and craven action by the West and you will be about 99%.
During my drive home from work listened to an interesting podcast from the son of a Hamas bigwig who defected to Israel. He brought up a lot of interesting things about the Palestinian resistance that dont ever reach Western audiences because it isn't convenient to the narrative. He said he grew up during the 1st Infintada in the West Bank and he says the first thing the leader
Finished the podcast. Some more interesting nuggets.
First off, he is extremely critical of "Palestinian" society, and all the internal violence that has nothing to do with Israel. For example, he says the main reason women aren't allowed to walk unchaperoned is because the amount of sexual violence is extremely high. He said because of the honor killing system, no one reports sexual violence because then there is tremendous pressure on the family of the person who was violated to kill them for their honor. He said he himself was raped as a child, and never reported it because he knew he would be punished and possibly murdered by his own family for it.
The reason I put "Palestinian" in quotes is that he was EXTREMELY critical of the whole concept of a Palestinian people, and how this concept has been abused by conmen and gangsters like Arafat and Sinwar to exploit the people and their suffering for their own gain.
He says there is no "Palestinian people" in the sense that Westerns imagine. That is something that just exists in the mind of Westerners. The society is structured into clans/tribes/gangs dominated by cynical grifters and conmen that only stop fighting each other long enough to fight Israel.
He really was of the opinion the Arabs are victims, not of Israeli oppression and colonization, but of their own "leaders," their own destructive culture, and political Islam.
He also told the story about how he ended up in an Israeli prison around age 18 because he was planning on going on a suicide mission to be a Shahid, but got caught before he could follow through on it. He says it wasn't even about hating Israel and wanting to kill Jews. It was more about feeling like he had nothing to live for and thinking at least doing this would bring honor to his family (which in itself says something about the society he grew up in). Anyways, in prison he says he witnessed hundreds of prisoners being tortured by fellow prisoners, and many murdered, for being collaborators. And he says pretty much 99% of them were completely innocent.
He made contacts with Israel in prison and he says during the 2nd Infintada he volunteered to work with Israeli intelligence to help stop suicide bombing attacks. He says if anything Israel was too ethical, and it cost a lot of Israeli and Palestinian lives. He said the key to stopping the bombings was going after the bomb makers, and very often they had the person dead to rights but had to call off the attack because they were around people and there might be collateral damage.
He recounted one story where one of their top targets was an important person in the suicide bomb unit who lived in Arafat's compound (which says something about Arafat) and never left which was off limits for assassinations, but they caught him once in the car outside the compound, but had to call off the hit because Barghouti (who was already public enemy #1) was in the car with him. He said it was extremely frustrating to give up a chance to take out 2 high profile targets at once just because one of them hadn't been approved, as it was against protocol.
There is probably more, but this post is long enough for now, so I'll end it.

It's not specifically communism (imo obviously). It's Maoist China and Bolshevic Russia and Nazi Germany. It's authoritarianism. Submission to the state. The specifics of the state don't matter much. If the notion is that the state or party or any huge abstract group is primary and individuals are there to serve that group, then very bad things can happen to lots of individuals.
A government has to serve people if it should exist at all, not people serving the state. Whether or not you need a little law and order, there's way too much submission to the state in the US anyway and a lot less bootlicking would nice.
lol at believing that guy. like, are you literally a stupid person? have some self respect.

the US govt serves the people. the Israeli genocidal govt serves the people. the Nazi govt served the people. in all three cases the people overwhelmingly supported the govt.
so Ill take any of those people any day over the genocidal crap from the USA and Israel.
