Given how Iranian Islamists have been brutalizing the people, maybe this is their equivalent to "Punch a Nazi"

Maybe this will start a real resistance against Islamism. Could you imagine millions of Persians around the world sick of what Islamists have done to their people pulling off the symbol of their oppression? Would be very powerful.

**** hezbollah for sure.

Hezbollah deez nuts

Do they ever give land back? At least the US gives back acres here and there

If/when the resistance gets tired of #Winning (as Victor frames it) and seriously comes to the bargaining table for the first time, land exchange will definitely be part of discussions.

Seriously how?

Seriously how?

Something along the lines of, "We'll give you this land and you give us that land."

--I am pessimistic that any Palestinian leadership will ever get to that point where such discussion could ever be made. So more likely Israel just keeps slowly annexing land; and then eventually unilaterally declares a border when they are satisfied they have enough of the militarily important land for their defense.

funny how you mention negotiating when these 2 articles came out in Israeli media that show it is the Netanyahu govt that is torpedoing talks and acting in bad faith.

Hamas is not going to accept a deal where Israel continues to attack Gaza and does not allow rebuilding efforts. that makes no sense. its just ludicrous to expect any sane party to be like, ok we will stop fighting you but you can continue to kill us and make us live in tents starving and filthy.

It's pretty much guaranteed that this happens. It's also not as bad as you are making it out to be, and probably the most likely way to get a long lasting peace. Aside from completely getting rid of Hamas not being realistic, if Hamas is sidelined then they play the role of attacking whoever is trying to make things better in Gaza. There is no realistic way to combat that.

Not as bad for who? With its buffer zones Gaza has lost something like 30% of its land. It was already one of the most densely populated urban areas in the world with a massive population growth trajectory.

Egypt will re-open the smuggling tunnels so Hamas can smuggle weapons in and selected people out, as that is good for business; but other than that neither Israel or Egypt or going to let Gazan's travel to work. And Hamas will continue to run the city poorly and brutally. Seems very bad for the Palestinian people.

But as Victor says, all indications are Palestinians approve of October 7th and how the war has been handled by Hamas since; so if this is what they want, who are we to criticize.

Hamas has already stated October 7th was just a dress rehearsal and they promise to bring the real pain on the Jewish people down the line. And they have already had serious meetings on how once they conquer Israel which Jews will be killed, enslaved or allowed to stay as dhimni. Given this, why would Israel negotiate to allow Hamas to stay in charge?

If you have the upper hand (bought with the lives of hundreds of your own people) against people promising to kill and enslave you; why would you stop just so they can fulfill their promise?

right well none of this is true. lol dress rehearsal, Hamas did not say that.

I cant think of a single example of colonial power just "giving" a subjugated people their freedom and self determination. almost all of them gained independence with violent struggle contributing in some important fashion.

Most western countries gave those rights to women without a violent struggle. Arab countries still haven't done that.

bro wut

I am not sure what that picture is supposed to mean. I was told in other threads that the USA does not attack civilian infrastructure so I guess thats a just a AI art or something I dunno.

The USA has not attacked Palestine at all.

nope. it certainly does.

by jalfrezi

Wow those mothers are such horrible people.

We're starving and under attack constantly, what's a good idea?

I know, have more babies!

its a better idea than not having babies. Its like in poker, you have to judge the EV of each decision and choose which one is highest .

for Palestinians, they lose when they stop having babies.

Do you want them to lose?

To be fair, the women have no say in that matter, or any matter.

On another note, it seems like most of the virtue signaling has died out as the conflict has shifted out of the spotlight. Ultimately, the people in global positions of power understood that this was only going to go down one way after Oct 7. I doubt there will be nearly as much global outcry if and when Israel and Hezzbollah clash. The tik tok and Twitter crowd have already grown bored of the Palestinians.

hezbollah these nuts. **** hezbollah

That Victor sees this conflict like a game of poker with EV to be won and lost is not surprising. The Palestinians keep getting dealt 72o, going all in prelfop and wondering why they have no chips. Wow maybe he’s right it’s just like poker!

huh? thats your analogy bruv.

Yes, if their main way to win is to create more starving babies.

The results I want in every war is whatever would cause fewer babies to be born.

I understand that women don't have say in politics, but I doubt that the majority of babies being born in Gaza were conceived via rape.

I don’t think the women have a say in anything, politics or whatever. I don’t think they are all being forcefully raped, that’s a crazy leap.

Would you say it becomes more dangerous to raise kids when you’re having a war?
