This is making me more and more upset at myself for giving up gambling.

Picked the wrong year to quit sniffing glue.

Then let's hear some of your ideas about a proper fix.

Forgivable loans and student debt relief for white males aged 35-45.

If I have to listen to this nincompoop say 'I grew up in a middle class family' one more time, I am going to rip off my head and run screaming thru the streets will my balls in a fruit pickers basket.

Does she have to say it again or can I just post an old video?

This is objectively false.

Which ones?

I don't have a laundry list of your personal beliefs, but it's probably a good idea to ask yourself this question. You certainly don't come across as someone who does it very regularly.

by Gorgonian k

Because it's a poor solution.

So black people need government gibs because they're lacking some immutable asset other demographics were born with?

What a despicable worldview.

I see. Perhaps the lesson we should take from this is that you might want to hold off making judgements about others' personal beliefs when you have no idea what they are? Then again, you certainly don't come across as someone who has either an aptitude or a desire for learning lessons.

No, you misunderstand me. It is a certainty that some of your beliefs are objectively wrong and others are debatable. Not because you're a liberal, but because you're human. The same is true of me.

I've never seen you admit you're wrong and your tone and content suggests you think you never are. When you walk back on a position I've seen you take, I'll give you credit for it.

How about you stop burden shifting, and since you made the claim that I have never done this, find an instance of where another poster has demonstrated I was wrong about something and I have failed to acknowledge the correction. That is how making claims works, both on the internet and in real life.

I see. In which case, why did you feel the need to state a vacuous truism and waste everyone's time?

I think I'd rather rest on the high probability my assumption about you is true than sift through 16000 posts to prove I'm right. Very little value for me in that task.

Or you could just search my user name and the phrase "I stand corrected". There are 8 hits on that literal string alone, and I'm sure I've used other wording to acknowledge when I've been wrong in other cases.

Feel free to verify this for yourself and then take whatever course of action you see fit now that you've been demonstrated to be wrong.

so is this one. how about tearing down that wall.

i'm in. let's do it.. but until then we can do the box thing ALSO.

by Slighted k

means tested box first. and in a few election cycles it will just be the status quo. similar to how Dems are now running Trump era border policies.

so no, I dont think that will work.

We all need to be unburdened by what has been

Whatever you think of harris and whatever you thought of that interview she has the balls to do a live one on one interview with an extremely hostile network

Meanwhile daddy trump doing 40 minutes of his jerkoff dance in silence to weird playlist requests and calling himself ‘the father of IVF’ on a Fox News town hall

When's she doing TIME?

I think it's good she did Fox, but see it more as a hail mary since floundering, than something she necessarily wanted to do. Perhaps I'm wrong there but that's my vibe.

Trump has gone into hostile territory a number of times. If not lately, since not floundering, doesn't need to.

Love chalking it up to Kamala's balls though. Very progressive.

Okie dokie then

I agree, it was ballsy. But it might have been an unforced blunder, unless internal polling shows she had to go for broke. I can't really wrap my head around why her team would allow her to do this otherwise. Seems high risk, low reward.

I thought some of her answers were quite well done, and some not so much, but in general she performed much better than I expected her to.

I think this is highly likely.

Leaving race aside for a moment, is this even a good idea? Up to 20 billion in forgivable loans, plus interest and administrative costs? Most of the businesses will fail. I don't know much about this subject, so I'm genuinely asking how it's likely to play out. From CNBC: The loans would be financed through partnerships between “mission-driven lenders,” community oriented banks and the Small Business Administration, the campaign said.

A lot of the time these proposals are sub optimal. Minimum wage is probably not the best way to distribute wealth to poor workers, but every 30 years or so Dems will propose a trivial raise to it and it's that or nothing.

What ever table scraps they throw out to keep up the good cop/bad cop charade, might as well take em. Otherwise they'll just use it for stuff like ppp loans, or some jet that doesn't fly.

If they propose a law that guarantees 10 days paid vacation to everyone but ES2 and the vacation days have to be taken on Tuesdays and Thursdays and whatever, might as well take it because a better policy is completely off the table.

Oh look, it's the guy who likes to call some people out for hypocrisy and others for not admitting their mistakes being a hypocrite and not admitting his mistake. Thanks for proving you are a clown who does not warrant taking seriously, just like the posters you've been defending.

by Gorgonian k

I have some predictions.

Never in doubt, all these clowns are clearly cast from the same mould.

Do they know they are part of the fascist movement, or are they being duped? I don't know.
