Many Muslim people care because the propaganda they consume tells them they should care. If MAGA was 75% of the people in the US, that would be pretty equivalent to the Muslim world as far as supporting a tribal, zero sum xenophobic, authoritarian, non-liberal worldview.
The leadership of pretty much every Muslim nation realizes the Palestinian cause is toxic, corrupt, dysfunctional and understand there is pretty much no upside to anything more than lip service. The IRI and its proxies fund Palestinian militant groups as a means to weaken Israel, but care nothing for the people and do nothing good for the people.
The Palestinians themselves are victims of tremendously corrupt western leftists and Islamist propagandists; that cynically manipulate and use them for their own ends.
