New fast food discussion/review thread

OK OOT, it's been a while since we had a devoted fast food thread around here and I think it's time we had a new one.

That's probably storewide. I am waiting for the proper time to go cause last time they did this it was pretty busy.

After one plain cake, I declare Randy's as the winner. Sorry,Portland, LA wins this round...

bloody hell, nobody here thinks they're good
voodoo is for tourists
pip's, annie's, or maybe blue star or sesame

Those meximelts hit good. I’ve missed them.

Popeyes is offering a cajun frozen turkey for TDay. Anyone with direct experience of those?

Voodoo and Randy's (see post from a couple of weeks ago) are both recent imports in the Phoenix metro area, "famous" in their original locales. Would I drive past my local Hi Hi's or Bosa's to go again to either? Nah.

Arby's has BOGO sandwiches in the app until 11/10.

$1 10-piece nuggies at Ricks. Once per week thru 12/2 via the app. Guess I'm eating Rick's once a week for a month...

Oh yeah! Rick's for lunch today!

I tried the green sauce burrito yesterday, don't think I ever had one back in the day.

Meh.

They can stay back in the day. It was mostly just refried beans. Totally uninspiring.

Then again, the local Bell has kinda sucked lately overall.

They need more grilled burrito options that aren't the grilled cheese on the outside ones.

I saw a video recently by one of the food review guys and he said it was up there with the best he has had and exceeded expectations.

I went there on Saturday for a $1 drink and everything was fine. I go back this afternoon and the place has a giant "Temporarily closed" sign hanging and the building is stripped down to the studs.

whew, they don't mess around.

LOL
I've got a buddy who just hates to close his (non-fast food) business for holidays, etc. He says "that interest never stops running."

Yeah, looked like just a bean burrito with green sauce. It did not appeal to me. I'd rather add the green sauce to a different burrito. The meximelt was the only decades item I wanted.

I usually order all of my burritos grilled. Whether they actually process the request is another story lol. But if not, I'll throw it in a pan once I get home.

Sucks your location hasn't been up to par lately. I have two pretty solid locations equidistant.

RB's got a free shake with purchase, one day (Tues Nov 5) online or thru the app, only.

I went by Mickey's to pick up a 20 piece to watch the game with. Then I looked at the menu board - $10.69 for a 10 piece. Over a dollar per nugget!

I backed out of the drive-thru and went to the redhead's.

Local Taco Bell is being rebuilt because the design sucked because of the lot shape. The owner was able to buy the adjoining piece and have a much nicer building. A week after they closed it was just a pile of rubble.

I got the $1 ten nuggies deal.available. probably will pass, I'm more mcrib focused

I can't even remember the last time I went to taco bell. I should make a batch of crunchy tacos, I'm not sure but they may have discontinued the taco bell taco seasoning packets.

Would be a nice change of pace. Home crunchy tacos with tots, or soft tacos

Rick's is dead to me, their food is always just mediocre.

Five Guys move over, cuz you got room on the McMuffin BANNED LIST!

Heh, it's like when Walter Cronkite finally turned on the Vietnam War and LBJ knew he'd lost the country.

Oh yeah!
