So we only ban Israel, and dont even have to explain why.

and we have to trust you its not anti-sematic.

SURE THING

I'm predicting you get a timeout for calling him what he is and he gets to keep spewing hate

? there is a game today here , basketball, our town team vs an Israeli one.

Given what happened in Amsterdam stuff happened.

Didn't know basketball was big in Italy. I kind of assumed it would be big in Israel because it's just USA in the ME.

Do many Israeli fans usually travel to this away game?

by Bubble_Balls

I don’t. Want to answer my question? We don’t even know how many of the people attacked were Jewish.

I don't give a flying **** if they are jewish or not

It's still a protest about the existence of a safe haven for Jews. Period.

by IMBLUEtheONE

Define killing 600-800k is syria please

Muslims killing 800k is casualties of war

1000 is genocide when Israel does it

by Bubble_Balls

Can anyone translate what the fans are chanting?

https://www.reddit.com/r/soccer/comments...

Let the IDF win and f%^k the arabs.

that is a ******ed chant, but they are not chanting the other chants claimed in the post.

Either way, its disgusting by itself.

Not that big in Italy but very big in Bologna specifically. No clue how many people come here to watch a low level international game.

Stadium for basketball has 13k seats iirc, pretty decent one here.

Can you not see how that would incite a violent response among some people?

by jalfrezi

Wow what a surprise you didn't have me on ignore after all the years of claiming otherwise. 🙂

I do have you on ignore. it’s my choice and not yours to read any post of yours I choose.

So yes, im normally happy to skip your wall of fake news and antisemitism - but not today

by BOIDS

wowww a whole bunch of collective punishment justification in here today. SICK STUFF

i am very glad that israelis on the whole dont think like this, else there could've been a genocide in gaza after oct 7

qft

unfortunately there are some people who do think like this. There are also plenty who conflate Israeli with jew and Hamis member with muslim.

you know nothing about the world, that is a big part of the problem.

Basketball is big in Europe and has been for decades. you could have guessed by all the NBA players from there.

It is pretty big in Israel, but not close to Soccer/Football. explain why this game is big with your RCT theories.

That’s also just an assumption. This could also be a (an inappropriate one) reaction to the war or (also inappropriate) perceived provocation by the Israeli fans. You also did frame this as a pogrom against Jews before.

Yes another true meme

It is

If you helped Jews during the nazi regime you were treated as a Jew

idk anything about basketball, I agree. 😃

No I can't. Im like that. I dont believe words should incite violence, as veil as they may be. But that is me and my Neanderthal cloture.

I asked you previously, if this excuses violence, why when Muslim chant kill Israel and death to Jews, aren't we excused?

Did you not read my reply to you earlier, which I even reposted for you?

you ignored my question. you summarized that basketball is big in Israel as we are an extension of the USA.

I asked you why is soccer even bigger?

Im serious, I really want to understand how CRT renationalize everything.

Didn't see your football question but happy to talk about it.

Football is a popular sport in most countries of the world, and often the most popular. Not sure why you keep bringing CRT into everything. Weird.

wonder why I bring CRT...

Taking control of land and expelling the civilian population is what makes it ethnic cleansing.

No. Having lost the war they have lost the land. That is not ethnic cleansing. That is the standard consequences of starting and losing a war. When Arab countries originally attacked Israel after its creation do you think they were intending on letting the Israeli's keep their land? No. They were intending on keeping it. Why should this be any different?

As an aside, when all the surrounding Arab countries expelled their entire Jewish populations THAT was ethnic cleansing. I don't hear too much concern from you about that...

Ok, this is the third and final time I'm going to try this with you.

Although I hope I wouldn't have reacted violently, the people who had their Palestine flags removed and Islamophobic chants shouted at them had a right imo to get into a hand fight with the instigators and only the instigators.

If any random Israeli football fans were sought and attacked in retribution that, of course, is abhorrent.

Is that clear enough?

why can you call anti Gaza chants islamophobic , if anti Israeli events aren't automatically antisemites?

maybe they had nothing against Muslims, maybe they just hated Gaza

I understood the first time. Really just wanted you to repost that for posterity.

Rationalizing violence because of chants... (as if that was the motive) ... you are clearly deranged.

I understand. I had a family member sent to a camp because they were a doctor that treated Jews. I’m very proud of that.

Nevertheless, attacking a group of fans of a team attached to a national identity doesn’t mean the motivation is antisemitism or a rejection of Israel as a legitimate state rather than anger at the actions of that state. I think it’s pretty dangerous to reinforce the flawed belief of antisemites that the state of Israel and Jewishness are indistinguishable.

I edited my post to make it clearer that I was talking about face to face hand fights, not ****ing rocket launches.
