[Bodog/Bovada/Ignition] Unofficial Thread

This thread is to separate the Bovada-related comments and questions from the Official Bodog Support Thread, which is there only for questions or concerns about anything Bodog-branded.

There is no official Bovada Rep at 2+2 at this time, but perhaps if discussion is effected in a civil manner, one might arrive in due course?

Thank you.

hi. can some1 please tell me what is the maximum buyin level in HU sit and go on Bovada? i know on iggy and bodog is 210, but also i know in cash the limits are different on these sites, for example on bodog i have maximum nl500.

Hi!

The cheating/bot situation in PLO is complete out of control. There is a group of players/bots the occupy 4-5 seats across 4 tbls of 5/10 plo each and every day for 10-12 hours. These guys have been doing this for ages, getting caught and banned and then setting up shop again a few weeks later. But this time is been going on since at least June without intervention.

They don't seem to ever try this at 10/20 so maybe they are from a country were 5/10 is max stake? It does not feel like bots that run the 5/10 show it feels more like 4-5 guys sitting next to each other in some South American sweatshop but i could be in the wrong here.

Ive played Bovada for 5-6 years and have bunch of friends that play here to. All are big winners on 2.5/5 and 10/20 but no one is winning any EV on 5/10.

How do they go undetected this time if they been caught in the past doing this? Maybe they use 20-30-40 accs instead of just 4-5? Idk

They deff run tbls at 2.5/5 to but there is like 5-15 tbls going most of the time so easier to avoid but on 5/10 they rly run the show playing 4 tbls leaving one seat open. You spawn 5/10 any time during primtime u get empty or full tbl ALWAYS, never 3h 4h 5h. Been at war with theese for ages but this time im close to giving up, who can help?

I cant redownload the poker software and the page is 404. Spoke to support and they told me to try different browsers or use the web browser. Does anyone have a fix for the issue?

where did you talk to support? I emailed them asking for a refund for the disconnection the other night and still nothing

Getting the "Disconnected, attempting to reconnect" pop up multiple times a session - assuming it's the same for everyone? Disconnecting in big pots is sooo tilting.

Yep, every session. The devs need to sort it out asap

The most tilting part is that they deny the issue is on their end. I recently happened on a thread in their support forums where someone was complaining about the disconnects and their response was that it's impossible for them to know when the user's bandwidth will drop; the person responded that their streaming movie and other usage didn't drop and support immediately hopped on that to claim the movie was taking too much of their bandwidth and causing the problem when we all deal with this on a nearly daily basis.

Did anyone get a refund for the disconnection the other day (last tuesday 19th)?

I emailed support twice and still haven't heard back from them.

I am having an issue withdrawing. When I request a withdrawal, I am not receiving the text message with code for verification. I have contacted support and they are saying that there isn't much they can do.

Has anyone else encountered this issue and do you have any suggestions how I can fix it?

Just wait and try later. Happens to me from time to time

same here, I wouldn't worry. If there was an issue with your account you'd have known.

Thanks for the replies.

It's been a couple weeks now and it's still not working.

Is this in line with what happened to you or did it resolve itself in a couple of days?

Hello everyone. I want to share my experience with how Bodog is refusing to release my funds under a fabricated pretext. I’ve been playing on their platform for two years, with breaks. As soon as I managed to win some money and requested a withdrawal, they initiated a verification process. I submitted the required documents and waited. After some time, I received the same verification request again. I resubmitted the documents, and once again, they responded with the same request. And again and again. They simply ignore what I send.

They stated that I need to provide them with “A copy of your Canadian gov. issued photo ID such as a Driver’s License or (e.g. Visa, Border Pass, Green Card).”

I am not a Canadian citizen, and I do not have their government-issued ID. However, I have been living and working in Canada for a long time. I chose the option to submit my visa (since the list included “Visa or Border Pass”😉 and also attached my work permit, SIN, bank account details, and POA. All of these documents confirm my presence in Canada.

However, Bodog’s support team keeps ignoring me and sends the same automated responses demanding Canadian ID. Live support hasn’t been helpful either. This has been going on for a couple of weeks now, and my funds are still not being released.

What should I do in this situation?

Ah, disconnected over and over and sitting out as the client won't load. Good stuff! Definitely not Bovada's fault that my high end computer and Internet work perfectly fine with every other site in the world but this one.

How do you know these are bot rings? not disagreeing just wondering why you think so, other than tables being empty or full. I've def joined some 3-4 handed 5/10 tables. I agree the games have gotten worse though, feels way more reggy but idk how to tell if they're bots

This site could solve 90% of their problems if they just went back to screen names

That would mean they would want to fix the issues. I'd bet a lot of money that they are behind at least some of the bots.

You are probably correct. Or they just don't care because they earning rake off them.

What would you say the average win rate is on ignition for Texas hold'em? I mean they don't really have a good reward system so is the average win rate that much higher that it makes it worthwhile to play there, or are you better off playing a site that offers rake back?

I’m a MTT/SNG player but I would say cash games on Iggy will equate to the same winrate with rakeback elsewhere. However the more bots/collusion the worse it is.

Who are the people at 500NL that are constantly disconnecting but then 100% raising or 3betting once they re-connect. They all play the same style. Are there really that many regulars playing all day long with bad internet connections?

Forget it. I played there a couple days and I remember why I hate this site. I can't stand anonymous tables, the unrandomeness of the deal, the disconnections, the entire site just drives me crazy

It's the site. Has nothing to do with internet connection. I routinely play on several other sites without issue but bodog disconnects multiple times per session

Has Iggy **** the bed for others? Can't open tables

Bovada exits Arizona after state serves notice[/B]

Arizona officials sent the C&D in early November to Bovada's listed parent entity, Harp Media B.V., and Bovada complied, blocking access to its Bovada.com and Bovada.lv sites. The withdrawal covers all of Bovada's online gambling services, including online poker, casino games including slots, and online sportsbetting.
In departing Arizona, Bovada has now exited fully one third of the US's 51 state-level jurisdictions. Sixteen states, including Arizona, and the District of Columbia now comprise Bovada's no-go list. Bovada has withdrawn from at least seven states during 2024 in the face of increasing state-level pressure.

bodog doesn't work for me, can someone tell if it works???
