Edit: RULES FOR THIS THREAD

2+2 Rules

Posting guidelines for Politics and Soci...

These are our baselines. We're not reinventing the wheel here. If you aren't sure if something is acceptable to post, its better to ask first. If you think someone is posting something that violates the above guidelines, please report it or PM me rather than responding in kind.

To reiterate some of the points:

1. No personal attacks. This is a broad instruction, but, in general, we want to focus on attacking an argument rather than the poster making it. It is fine to say a post is antisemitic; it is not okay to call someone an antisemite over and over. If you believe someone is making antisemitic posts, report them or PM me. The same goes for calling people "baby killers" and "genocide lovers". You are allowed to argue that an action supports genocide or that the consequences of certain policies results in the death of children, but we are no longer going to be speaking to one another's intentions. It is not productive to the conversation and doesn't further any debate.

2. Racist posts and other bigoted statements that target a particular group or individuals of such groups with derogatory comments are not allowed. This should not need further explanation.

3. Graphic Images need to be in spoilers with a trigger warning.

4. Wishing Harm on other posters will result in an immediate timeout.

5. Genocidal statements such as "Kill 'em all" etc, are no longer permissible in the thread.

If anyone has any questions about the above, please PM me. I don't want a discussion about the rules to derail the content of this thread. If anything needs clarifying, I will do that in this thread.

Please be aware this thread is strictly moderated
I was playing live poker late at night a few months ago, and late at night when people get tired people lose inhibitions and start conversations and say things they normally wouldn't.

Anyways, long story short there was a guy with a pretty heavy ME accent at the table, and at some point one of the other players asked them where they were from, and the person replied Lebanon; and in response the player asked them what the Lebanese people should do about Israel.

And the Lebanese person replied t

But im sure that some of their best friends are Palestinians

can anybody explain to me the rape allegations against Israel. There is of course the one rape allegation against Israeli's, regarding a Hamas operative who was involved on October 7th. and the soldiers who are suspected of being involved in this are being prosecuted. So far, the case seems very weak.

Am I missing anything more?

Victor and Jafrezi are emphatic it is well documented there is serial rape of Palestinian prisoners by Israelis, and most of Israeli society support this. There is no actual evidence to support these claims, but despite this the moderation of the forum says it is fine for them to keep declaring this over and over and over. And so they do, and here we are.

I don't mind that these claims are not moderated, as I don't think that anything should be, but is this really their claim? Because it is LOL.

our ******ed and Nazi minister in charge of the prison Service - Mr. Ben Gvir himself, has made it his highest priority to take measures in order to worsen the Security prisoners
captive condition.

In such, he took away the prisoner's bakery, which made us rename him as the Pita bread minister.

they also built a new prison, that has almost no sunlight, as another measure of worsening the prison conditions for Security prisoners.

till now the Security prisoners received higher education and had better conditions than Israeli prisoners,

in other words - no one in his right mind has ever claimed that Israel has terrible prison conditions or that crimes are committed there against the prisoners

its interesting that you think people are unaware of the divisions in Lebanese society. everyone knows there are sectarian issues. everyone knows that a large segment of the population wants to align with the West or feels they have no choice but to try. they just installed a US puppet as president ffs.

You're missing volumes of credible accounts of IDF prisoner rape and abuse from numerous media outlets and respected international human rights orgs.

Given how the Last 40 years of being an IRI puppet have gone, of course the majority of sane Lebanese people want to align with the west instead.

Why would anyone want to be at perpetual war with their neighbor on Behalf or an authoritarian theocracy 1000 miles away, with zero upside for them.

That is the point.

Go to AskJeeves.com or the search engine of your choice, this is very simple to find and I'm not doing your rudimentary web searches for you.

Er, there might be a problem with this.

But killing women, olds, and babies in hospitals and refugee camps? *Those* are battlefields for sure.

Trolly, intent does matter.

If Israel had lined up 200k women and children as a wall around Hamas on Oct 7, and Hamas could have killed them ALL that day, they would have. That's a fact. That would have been their divine duty to do. There was no limit to how many civilians Hamas would have killed that day, and we're just lucky Hezbollah didn't join from the North. The estimates on what would have happened are catastrophic.

Not many IDF soldiers wake up in the morning and think "I wonder how many babies I can kill today". But I do believe that most of you pro-Pal folks believe that most if not all, do.

This is bad faith.

I was asked time after time to support my claims with references and supporting evidence. I came threw every time.

It is a fair request to ask someone to do so, and not replaying - google it.

And FYI, I googled even before I asked and only found references to the incident I was referring too (notwithstanding general claims with no basis).

at least in this case we will soon know if it's a lie by trump or not

using a fake genocide to justify a real genocide.

Donny the Dove!

fwiw, lots of people think this is just a ploy by Israel who will resume the genocide as soon as they come home.

Dude, you state a factual claim and make it like you brought some secret insight.

Just to be clear - the war will continue after the deal is done. this is not a ploy, this is our declared position. wtf are you smoking all day?

and the deal is only for 30 hostages. we will still have 70 more after it.

and the war will end only when Hamas has no military and governing capabilities.

What does this have to do w/ DJT?

by FreakDaddy k

What does this have to do w/ DJT?

Trump got the deal done. Biden wanted to continue the mass murder.

lets check the scoreboard

Genocides committed: Biden 1, Trump 0
Genocides stopped: Biden 0, Trump 1

Does the Israel public acknowledge that most of the hostages are assuredly dead already?

And whatever Hamas is saying now about releasing the bodies, there is no chance it is actually going to follow through.

It seems pretty obvious the public discourse here (US) ignores this completely, and will continue to do so, as it isnt convenient to the progressive narrative that Hamas is the good guys.

When the death toll reaches 200k Arabs, will you decide Israel should stop? If not how are you any different?

it doesnt sound like secret insight to me. sounds blindingly obv that there is always a good chance of treachery from the Israeli genociders.

but the deal is for 3 stages. its weird to negotiate 3 stages when, as you put it, the declared position is to only adhere to the first stage. I mean, its not weird for liars to do that guess.

lol, the killings aren't going to stop

Most are dead. There is also a woman who most likely gave birth to a child from rape (inside info).

We want everyone back, dead or alive

the deal is a ceasefire only for the duration of the deal. Israel was standing firm that ending the war is not on the table. can you even read?

this was the last one I read.

you sound kind of mad about this tbh
