ICE agents were turned away from an elementary school in Chicago today. Teachers and staff stood on business and told them to get lost. Good deal. I started doing my yearly teaching gig this week, so I am in and out of a couple of schools in my area almost daily. I talked to a few of those teachers today about this right after school and it's actually amazing how protective they are of their kids. For Hegseth to have been a DEI pick, he’d need to be “diverse”. He’s not. He’s a piece of **** just like all of Trump’s other appointments. For any Trump nominee to be DEI, they’d have to be different, like being decent human beings. That ain’t happening. Trump will surround himself with trash. Birds of a feather flock together.

I was pointing out that they whine DEI aren't picked on merit, yet seem unconcerned that the majority of Trump's cabinet are wholly unqualified for their roles, and are solely chosen for their loyalty to Trump.
I predict that just like when I pressed bj about if he would distance himself from the nazi regime that gassed 6 million jews, this question will be ignored or dodged rather than being answered clearly and directly.

It wasn't error in reading, it was just a mistaken assumption, according to the article. Their IDs were homeland security which oversees both secret service and ice and they assumed ice.

The Chicago Public School system is notorious for being inept, full of cronyism, and corrupt. It doesn't surprise me that they couldn't read a business card.

Since Trump wasn't actually there but was in the White House, that looks like a historical version of the Great Seal of the US. It is probably part of the architecture.

Perhaps the WEF has a better understanding of where the US is headed than those who voted for Trump. After all, the WEF are undoubtedly educated and those who vote Trump are not. Pretty easy choice on who to trust.
