These are our baselines. We're not reinventing the wheel here. If you aren't sure if something is acceptable to post, its better to ask first. If you think someone is posting something that violates the above guidelines, please report it or PM me rather than responding in kind.
To reiterate some of the points:
1. No personal attacks. This is a broad instruction, but, in general, we want to focus on attacking an argument rather than the poster making it. It is fine to say a post is antisemitic; it is not okay to call someone an antisemite over and over. If you believe someone is making antisemitic posts, report them or PM me. The same goes for calling people "baby killers" and "genocide lovers". You are allowed to argue that an action supports genocide or that the consequences of certain policies results in the death of children, but we are no longer going to be speaking to one another's intentions. It is not productive to the conversation and doesn't further any debate.
2. Racist posts and other bigoted statements that target a particular group or individuals of such groups with derogatory comments are not allowed. This should not need further explanation.
3. Graphic Images need to be in spoilers with a trigger warning.
4. Wishing Harm on other posters will result in an immediate timeout.
5. Genocidal statements such as "Kill 'em all" etc, are no longer permissible in the thread.
If anyone has any questions about the above, please PM me. I don't want a discussion about the rules to derail the content of this thread. If anything needs clarifying, I will do that in this thread.

It’s almost as if these 2 nations with enormous military might, that could have flattened Gaza in a week and made sure no life was left, are trying to screw this genocide up and actually NOT kill everyone. The direction Trump is taking was obvious to everyone except a few individuals who have been consuming misinformation and propaganda since the recent conflict started, and probably before that as well.

I looked and the state of her feed is clear. Anyone else is welcome to check it out and see the same. Calling her antisemitic is on you. I was just pointing out that she probably has no idea what she’s talking about, like 99% of the accounts you follow and post in here. Don’t project so hard.

Well, given that providing a list of live hostages is a requirement of the Geneva Convention, and not doing so is a war crime that Hamas has clearly been violating for 400+ days; it would seem this is you acknowledging your operating system is just zero sum tribalism, and you are mostly indifferent towards international law and only bring it up in bad faith.

so she was obv a soldier, as was easy to logically figure out. well, I guess she was considered 3/5 a soldier as it should have been 50 prisoners and not 30 but well we know how Israel operates.
At the last second Hamas switched one of the prisoners they said they were going to release. There doesn't seem to be any other reason other than psychological terrorizing the girls family. In return Netanyahu is saying he is not opening North Gaza until she is released. Seems fair.

Given what we know of Hamas’ situation and it inability to rein in even clan leaders until recently, I think it’s possible, even probable, the current Hamas leadership is in negotiations with other factions in Gaza to secure (likely even to track down) hostages.

The view of Israeli hard-liners has always been that Palestinians should just pack up and go to Jordan or Egypt. And that's pretty much what Trump said. He also restarted the shipment of 2000 lb bombs to Israel that the Biden administration halted last year.
It was always obvious that Trump's election would be a good thing from the perspective of Israeli hard-liners.
Just because you think this is what Israeli hard liners want, doesn’t mean it isn’t the truth.
The Gaza situation truly is hopeless. Too much hate and religious radicalism, cynically fed by western largesse.
The best thing would be to just stop aid, open the borders, and let people go live their lives and give up eternal Jihad.
But as I said, for geopolitical reasons bad actors, especially form the progressive left and Muslim world, who don’t give a single **** about Palestinians except as pawns aren’t going to allow this to happen.

Unfortunately the definition of ethnic cleansing requires mass expulsion, but by members of different ethnicities.
If egyptians are complicit it can't be ethnic cleansing because gazeans and northeastern egyptians are ethnically, culturally, religiously, genetically indistinguishable. They are the same people.
