Trooper97 vlogs, discussions etc. will be allowed to continue in the new thread. That thread will not be unchained and I will work with the other LVL mods to keep it civil.
I personally am not going to allow a lot of the horrible posting that went on in the original thread to take place and I will be very generous with post deletions and bans if needed.
Posts the are overly derogatory, mean spirited, name calling (including using rude derivatives of names) , and demeaning posts towards any of the vloggers or posters in the thread will be deleted at the mods discretion. If any accounts persistently do this they will be banned or exiled from posting in this thread. In these cases we may issue a warning first.
Accounts that are used only to or substantially to troll post in this thread will be banned.
No personal family information or situations allowed in the thread.

OK Vlogger Thread, we are going with some new parameters to try to make this the POSITIVE vlogger thread that it is supposed to be, not the AIDS vlogger thread where a few loonies ruin it for the rest. Note that 'positive' does not equal 'only positive', it means anything negative being said CAN'T be namecalling or wild, unsubstantiated speculation regarding any and all vloggers. Personal lives and anything aside from poker is OFF THE TABLE.

In all seriousness I would say his videos are much more about being a nomad than playing poker. He is basically a homeless guy who spends some time in casinos. There is pretty much no overlap between his life and that of a typical poker player
A poker vlog has to, get this, be poker centric.
Diesel better be careful tagging GPI or they'll release a Mean Stupid Wrong tweets about him.
Pman's vlogs has a better chance at being nominated for a GPI award than Diesel does.
He wants accolades just for uploading consistently every day, even if it's utterly unwatchable drivel.
This is very true and the only person to reply to rice on twitter makes the same point.
Rice certainly goes for quantity over quality
Rice has no ambitions of being the best, or even adequate. His only ambition is churning out the most number of videos possible, regardless of whether they are in the least bit interesting to anyone but himself. This in his mind is the only objective measure of performance, everything else is just subjective.
Rice likes objective things like numbers, stats and records. He feels like he can't be screwed over that way, like he has been in so many other subjective areas of life. I think thats why he wants to one day have the world record for most number of consecutive daily YouTube uploads. No one will be able to deny him that.

Creating utter **** rightly gets you nothing. Even if you consistently create **** daily. Rice has the Gen-Z mentality down perfectly; but he's way too old for it.

Eh, Rice does have a point, he’s like the 2020s version of tuff fish, pure comedy gold. Rice bad beat videos especially the Red Rock massacre with AA are much like old tuff fish videos the only thing he’s missing are funny catchphrases like f me to tears and a Empiremaker2-level villain.
He has several videos funnier than anything Marle and that poker comedy duo where one got hired by poker stars and the other was on Tosh’s podcast. Yes, the comedy is unintentional but many times my ribs have hurt from laughing at a rice video and never from any of those actual poker comedy videos. Some of the best are all the cooking videos, the bathroom floor pubes saga, the one where he explains why he separates spork packages and his personal salt/pepper shaker filled entirely from those little packets, eating nothing but cereal and rice at Vegas buffets etc.
Skater Nomad reports after learning to play craps he earned $850. Now he states he will engage in sports betting.
He further states that he has a knee disability due to skating injury and is unable to do manual work such as UPS and has no car insurance and that he needs an oil change and brake pads. He then finds a discount mechanic in Compton.
He then films the mandatory parking garage scene at Yamava Casino parking garage.

But dont worry, if you dare to ask Rice about his heavy breathing or being totally out of shape he will promptly deny the obvious-and then proceed to do mental gymnastics to explain why he is in great shape, its a healthy diet and so on.
