He's such a conundrum for both fantasy and real life haha. But yeah, I think he has crazy upside if things break right for fantasy, so why not? That area of the draft usually results in a lot of zeros and disappointments, anyways. And finding a league winner there is game changing.

I’m curious when we will find out his role .

Me too. I edited the end of my post before I saw your quote.

I think the draft and offseason reports will give us some direction, but it's still going to be tough to trust until we see it. We'll probably be drafting him for most of the offseason without fully knowing how many snaps he'll be playing at WR.

I'm willing to make the heavy bet at what I think is a good price now. But depending on where the price and uncertainty go, I may have to adjust.

Not how I usually allocate draft capital, but it was a lot of fun to build. The ceiling is high and the floor is low. Pacheco started in the 40s and I've been full fading. Got him at 111 in this one.

Lamar, Brock

Pacheco, Dowdle, Ollie Gordon, Corum, Ekeler, RJ Harvey, Brashard Smith, LeQuint Allen, Kalel Mullings

CeeDee, London, Deebo, Aiyuk, Bateman, Tre Harris, Thielen

McBride, Kittle

Wr seems too weak to me , but if Deebo is himself again, it’ll be fine

Im sure the rookie RBs are solid, but I don’t think I know any from RJ Harvey on

Is Pacheco being traded?

Definitely need CeeDee and Drake to be top 5-10 guys while the others fill in the gaps. Harris hitting would be nice.

I don’t know much about the late rookie RBs either. Just clicking buttons and building combos knowing some will hit.

He just seems like all downside right now, without much upside. I like him much better after pick 100.

1. Returned from injury but still playing behind Hunt.

2. The Chiefs will have a lot of options in the draft to either replace him or join him.

3. His injury might have zapped his best trait of being quick and twitchy. That tightrope procedure is not kind.

RB is kind of a minefield right now overall with the depth of this rookie class.

Drafting 2 more big boards

Here’s the first, I kinda like it

Qb - Caleb, Bryce, Milroe

Rb - Achane, Breece, Skattebo, J Wright, Chubb, Trevor ETN

Wr - JJ, DJM, Rome, Pickens, Reed, Egbuka, Coker, Royals

Te - Warren, Engram, Gesicki

Guy next to me drafted a playoff bestball team of all kc players including Noah gray in the 6th so not sure if this gets thrown out haha

Here’s the 2nd one… give me all the rookie RBs I guess haha

Qb - Kyler, Stroud

Rb - Jeanty, Hampton, Neal, Gordon, Guerendo, Martinez

Wr - Nico, DJM, MHJ, Addison, Jennings, Legette, Tez Johnson, Westbrook-Ikhine, Noel

Te - Njoku, Kmet, Fannin

Real season begins tomorrow!

The myffpc fantasy playoff tournament this year ended up being mostly chalk as the optimal choices. I suppose Mahomes was the best QB option, although the pro $$$ is all over the under today so it's possible Kelce was still the best KC player and those with Allen ended up ok. Only wildcard was Rams defense was the optimal play, which few people had. Saq is the MVP. Other obvious choices were McConkey, Henry, McLaurin, fade Denver/Pitt. All worked out and were the most obvious.

Top % exposures for tonight:

Mahomes - 88
Chiefs D - 63
Saquon - 55
Kelce - 54
Worthy - 44
Hurts 40
AJB - 29
Butker - 20
Devonta - 20

This phenomenon is ****ing with ADPs lol, even with drafts being cancelled. I was surprised to see Mahomes, Pacheco, and Kelce rise when I opened up slows this morning, then I realized why.

Hopefully with the SB over, it'll stop. I've seen it once or twice but none of my drafts have been cancelled yet. A lot of drafters are posting about draft cancellations on X, though.

The UD UI didn't do drafters any favors by having these contests listed under the KC/Phi section.

I’ve only drafted 6 and 2 were cancelled already haha

That's not a good ratio haha. Just a waste of time.

I've done 12 fast so far and the rest slow. At least I don't have to worry about the SB drafters in the slows.

I fell asleep while late night drunk drafting the other night. I wish this one had been cancelled. Kmet TE1 szn.

Geno, Goff, Love, Carr, Wilson
Saquon, Jacobs, BRob, Dowdle, Lloyd, Roschon
JSN, Jamo, DK, Jayden, Burden, Doubs, Wicks, Savion Williams
Kmet

If Carr and Wilson had been TEs, it would have had a chance.

Had to replace one of the cancelled ones

How does this look? Weaker at wr than i usually build

Qb - Love, Tlaw, Fields

Rb - CMC, Kyren, Spears, Gordon, Martinez, Raheim Sanders

Wr - Btjr, Pickens, Jeudy, Burden, Downs, Wicks, Bech, Savion Williams, Boutte

Te - McBride, Andrews

Yeah, that WR room is pretty rough. Though initially, I'm pretty low on Pickens, Jeudy, and Downs at current cost, so that specific room adds some bias for me. It seems fine if you only consider draft cost allocation. But I'd say the only position you're elite at is TE, and potentially QB, if those 3 overperform. But as long as CMC is CMC, you'll have a chance.

Where has Downs been going currently?

How close is him and Pittman?

92 downs vs 111 Pittman

Pittman feels like great value at that price, it’s just hard to get him bc you usually are drafting qb there

In a vacuum, the Downs price is probably fine, but I just feel like mostly fading the highest cost pass catcher is the right call with the AR uncertainty. I'll be interested to see which QB they bring in for competition. I also worry about them finally finding a competent TE, making it even more messy.

With that said, I have been drafting some Pittman, Pierce (170), and AR (140). AR's price is especially juicy, but certainly high risk, and I mostly want him in middle to late round 3 QB builds. I've taken Adonai (187) once or twice, but I don't really trust him not to be a moron.

JT's price of 20 also seems fine.

Doing a MLB bestball on DK. Hopefully this Teams dropdown is a feature they add for NFL next season.

Me too. It's ridiculous you can't search by team while drafting. One of the many reasons I prefer UD.

I just drafted this Big Board. Not my favorite or normal build, but I'm really trying to experiment, especially with so much uncertainty right now. Who knows what we'll need weeks 15-17?

Brock, Love, Fields

Saquon, Breece, Chubba, Devin Neal, RJ Harvey

Reek, Adams, Jennings, Aiyuk, Matthew Golden, Isaiah Bond, Alex Pierce, Michael Wilson

Engram, Elijah Arroyo, Mason Taylor, Musgrave

Took Love at 118, then missed out on Kraft, Doubs, and Wicks, so hail married Musgrave. The Kraft miss was irritating and was really the only reason I took Love at 118. The 1.02 had taken Jonnu and Warren back to back at the 8/9 turn. The 1.01 was on auto drafting along ADP. So I felt confident I'd get Kraft. The 1.02 decided to take Kraft at 119 lol.

My first MLB team. A lot of players don't seem to get basic strategies and are going way to heavy on pitchers in the early rounds and not doing enough stacking. My biggest complaint on my draft is taking Logan Webb over Hunter Brown by mistake. Taking another hitter would have also been better.

I wish I paid more attention to baseball, but the cubs have been mediocre for a bit, so I haven’t really watched/paid attention

I think this is probably solid, I just drafted a similarish squad

Caleb, Love, Rodgers

Saquon, Breece, Skattebo, Benson, Chubb, Damien Martinez

Reek, Dk, Rome, Aiyuk, Deebo, Doubs, Wicks, Boutte

Njoku, Kmet, Fannin

I think I like yours better than mine, especially at TE haha. I probably should have taken WR instead of Chubba. I was about to take DK but then saw I had him on 63% of my Saquon teams so far and pivoted.

Also not sure if I should have added my 4th RB where I did Neal but liked the idea of his upside with my top 3.

Love is a tough back stack. You pulled it off nicely. I've mostly been taking him with Jacobs and/or Reed, then tacking on later if the other guys are there. I've done a few Love/Kraft at the 10/11 turn.

I need to be more intentional about drafting guys like Herbert, Maye, Dak, CJ, etc. as they all have nice prices. But three of them only have one pass catcher that's drafted ahead and Maye has none. I've done a few Maye/Tet, in case the Pats go there at 4.

I'm not much of a take and hope back stacker, as it just feels so -ev in the playoff weeks if you show up with naked pocket passers. But it leaves me underexposed, since I'm obviously not taking Herbert every time I have Ladd or Dak every time I have CeeDee and so on. Not to mention, the back stack options are few and mostly not good right now, anyways.

I'd still give it a go on DK where at least it's soft enough that you don't need to be an expert to make a decent team.

Typical builds are either 6-7-7 or 8-6-6 (P/IF/OF)

Stacking is important. I'd say more so than football but don't feel forced to stack if you think you can get a better one off.

Pitchers are like RBs so you'll want to take either a Hero or Zero approach.
