[WPT Global] Official Thread
Hi 2+2ers,
Welcome to the official WPT Global thread!

Just played an extremely suspicious hand. I've reported hands like these before and never hear back. Has anyone else had weird hands with this player Paycie?
Did you peek what the reg that raised have?

Sorry but what's suspicious here?
Classic hand for paycie. You should have folded river or go allin, no bluff possible here and no worst value.
I mean if the other reg raised a 9 then I don’t think there’s anything suspicious at all about this hand, maybe paycie is being a bit ambitious floating with someone behind but even then, it’s such a cheap float it’s probably okay
Just a normal hand.
Hey guys, I’m here to takeover from Alex with relaying feedback/reports and to generally keep you in the loop here 😀
Please reach out whenever, can see there was some discussion about our reporting system. Jimbo was spot on about gathering screenshots and sending over to our security team for review.

Will be checking in here regularly, so let me know if there’s anything on your mind I can help with.

Hi, thanks for stopping by. I sent Alex a PM 2 weeks ago, is he not working at WPT anymore or will he not be coming to this thread anymore?
Have you played poker?
Hey Sam.
Can you request your software team to edit where on the screen the tables pop up. They pop up in front of active tables which I'm sure you'll appreciate is a problem, especially with the time it takes tables to load due to lag.
Thanks.
I can confirm all the things bob19123 said above unless 1 thing, they are not the bots, they are real people just change around 10-15 accounts per months.
The reason why they change a lot of accounts is after winning some money, they will be restricted from seeing the tables (yes WPT called it fair system).
And in other skins of WPT, when they withdraw small money, they don't need to do KYC, and normally the money they win before being restricted is less than the money that need to do KYC, it's wh
They play far too similarly for them to be normal players. I'd be very surprised if they weren't bots or using some type of RTA.

I'd be interested in this as well. I disagree with some of the criticisms in the thread and think Alex did a good job engaging with the players despite being put in numerous difficult situations.
Where does the 10% fee go from high hand bonuses. There was talk in the thread that all/some of it goes to the agent? can you confirm this please
Sam this week without any answer is not a good start tbh
Got some bad news guys I'm afraid. Alex is leaving WPT Global. There is also mention of them pivoting away to focus on the Asian markets.
Sam, can we get can an update on this please soon and what the plans are for WPT Global going forward?

Sorry Sam. I don't mean to put you on the spot here. Feel free to ignore this and reply to the other posters if you don't have enough info at this time.
Hi Sam
Bye Sam

bro, they don't care lol.
Just get in your head WPT is doing whatever they can to clean all the fish asap and get max rake before it's over. They don't thinj about longevity or fixing the things that are wrong. They are thinking about there bottom line, not removing the bots, and you should do the same.
I would add that the fact that Alex is leaving the company shows us two things
1) Alex was probably one of the good guy, really trying to make things better but was handcuff
2) He is probably leaving because of how shady those Asian owners are and didn't want to ruin his name being affiliated with them
Hi,
I will preface this message by saying this is my opinions based on my personal experience. I am going to send the messages between me and wpt's security team so you can reach your own conclusion. Also please let me know if some of the information I provided is inaccurate I am just going off word of mouth for the app games due to me never actually playing on one I can't be fully certain. Also not all these accounts are bots some could possibly be multiaccounting / using huds / notes etc. They
It's a shame that other players with different skins have all the facilities to have HUD, set colors, take notes...versus players who are playing at the same tables. I can understand the HUD thing, but how the heck haven't they implemented at least the simple option to put colors and notes on the players? What can you tell us about that Sam?
Everyone on this table is a reg with hundreds of thousands of hands besides Yaodabao, this AI system is fraud. If you don’t have connections you’re considered a HSP? And don’t tell me some of these guys are losing. No PRO is sustaining few hundred K hands as a loser. How’s this fair system fair?

In fairness, they have rewarded me several grand for sending in the reports and I think they also paid you out something if I am not mistaken. That doesn't seem consistent with the idea that they are not trying to sort it out. I think it is clearly in the best interests of anyone playing in these games to keep sending in reports of players you suspect are cheating.

Did they pay you anything in the past few weeks?
Sam, there seems to be a bug where randomly the 5/10/20 stake gets removed from the lobby temporarily. Thanks.
Same issue here.
